Lakeview Animal Hospital

EXCELLENT is the word that exemplifies the work of Dr. de Cordon and her staff. This animal hospital is kind, the doctor is an expert in her profession, follow up is prompt and commitment for the proper diagnosis of the patient is exceptional! The staff responds in a professional manner, consistently. The hospital is warm, beautiful and inviting. Access to the doctor is literally 24/7!! She responds regardless of the day or time! The quality veterinary services provided by Dr. de Cordon and her staff should be recognized! Pendry and Ally are so fortunate to be cared for by Dr. de Cordon and her staff! Thank you!

On 1/20/25 (MLK Day) I woke up to find my 10 year old cat, Mulder alive, but in very poor condition, and the two Baltimore veterinarians I usually work with seemed to be closed for the holiday. I actually called Lakeview on accident, but the receptionist told me they could still take me immediately as a new client, so we rushed over. Mulder was taken back to the Emergency Room as soon as we stepped through the door, while I was taken elsewhere to share his medical records and history. Once his intake was complete I was very kindly allowed to go sit with him in the Emergency Room. Sadly, my amazing cat passed away about 6 hours after we arrived, but during the hours I sat with him in the emergency room he was truly loved and cared for by the staff, and I could see how much they cared about the other animals that came through the doors during that time. I was also very well cared for, I was given numerous snacks and beverages, boxes of Kleenex and a phone charger. Lakeview had onsite blood testing and ultrasound, very soon after we arrived we could see that he was dangerously hypoglycemic and had many other alarming blood test results. A few hours later through an ultrasound the vet was able to tell me that he had a tumor that had burst in his abdomen, his kidneys were in terrible condition, and his body was shutting down. I went and picked up his cremains today. I paid for individual cremation, but not an urn. I was touched to see his remains in a wooden box with his name engraved (thank you Agape Pet Services) in addition to an print of his nose and his pawprints. I also received a very kind condolence card from all of the staff in the mail last week. Thank you so much to everyone at Lakeview for taking care of us on that horrible day. Spooky Mulder forever.

I cannot say enough good things about the team at Lakeview. I submitted a new patient emergency intake form last Tuesday for my sick senior cat. I immediately got a response that they could see me that afternoon. The office itself is so nice and welcoming. The front desk staff was considerate and kind, asking if I needed anything to drink while I waited for the vet. The veterinary team itself was so incredibly knowledgeable, compassionate, and professional. Although I had to say goodbye to my sweet baby Einstein, I felt so comforted and understood by the team at Lakeview. Einstein was in the best hands possible. I highly recommend them!

The staff at Lakeview Animal Hospital are so welcoming and caring, I felt completely at home right away. And because Dr. Laura was so knowledgeable, and because their facilities are so state of the art, I knew my puppy was in the best hands for her surgery. Thank you, Lakeview!

The staff and service at Lakeview is an absolute godsend. These are not just our animals, they are our family, and the team at Lakeview absolutely recognize that. My dog is quite anxious, but I was amazed to find that he was completely at peace during his visit. He must have recognized the warmth and great energy emitting from this hospital! I am so grateful for this practice and could not recommend a place more. In all my years of visiting animal care facilities, they are by far the best and it is not even close.
