Absolutely fantastic veterinary office. The doctors we’ve seen are caring, compassionate, and extremely knowledgeable. Dr. Wilkerson and Dr. Riesterer are beyond amazing! We’ve been bringing all 5 of our fur babies here for over 10 years and will continue!

This is a good veterinary clinic. They also do some emergency services too. It is very clean and spacious. I enrolled my new puppy in a Pet Annual Wellness plan which seems to be a good value so far. The vets and techs are kind and genuinely interested in the animals. I don't feel rushed. They answer all my questions. Best of all my dog Molly likes it too! Not afraid.

Molly was AMAZING with my old gal Izzy. ❤️ she took the time at check in for her very grooming service to talk about her health issues and what I was expecting for her hair cut. She was so kind and gentle with my Izzy girl and she gave us a complimentary service after our talk from past groomers who had ruined my double-coated girl. I am deeply grateful to have found Molly 🙏 ✨️ at Lake Street Animal Hospital and I am so at ease knowing that this hospital has all my girl's records in the event that something medical should happen while she is there for a grooming appointment. The receptionist staff there is equally as important and even recognized my Izzy girl right as we walked through their doors for our very first appointment. ❤️ thank you so so much Lake Street Animal and ALL staff, you will be seeing more of us in the future, you can COUNT on that!

The 1 star is for the front desk staff…..they are really pleasant and friendly. Beata is great and she’s always very nice. However, if you want the utmost care for your pet….you’re better off taking them elsewhere. This place will overcharge you for every little thing….it’s ridiculous. Please save your pet, your time and YOUR MONEY!!! The doctors do not have your pets best interest. It’s all about how much they can charge you….greed…..and it’s sad. You’ve been warned!

Just spoke with Jose on the phone and they were so kind, patient and helpful I decided it's finally time to write a review after 4.5 years. I've been taking my (reactive rescue) dog to Lake Street since 2020, when we all had to stay outside, which seemed to actually work better for my dog. Even now, they understand she can't wait in the waiting room with other dogs, so they come out and get us when it's time for the exam and we go straight into the exam room. We've had a few different Doctors over the years and all have been great. The staff here is so kind, especially Beata who answers a lot of emails and calls. I wish I remembered the young woman I spoke to last week with several questions about my dog's paw plan and upcoming appointment - she was also extremely patient and helpful. I never want to take too much of their time because I know they're busy, but that's me, they never make me feel rushed (you do have to be willing to wait a minute as a normal, decent human in a medical facility). I started going to Lake Street because they were affiliated with Anderson Humane where I adopted my dog. Even though they're 30 minutes away from home, I've continued to go there because I trust them.
