Lake City Animal Hospital

Originally was gonna go in for consultation for a dental cleaning. But I needed to get my dogs vaccines and was gonna get them that weekend at a shot clinic. I was able to get my shots at Lake City and a free exam for the same price as the shot clinic. And when they looked at my dog's teeth they were honest and told me her teeth looked great and didn't really need a dental this time. Everyone is really nice. I've never had to wait a long time and my dog is happy going there.

I just wanted to say that I love taking my dogs to Lake City AH. The staff is always so pleasant and helpful. I have been really impressed with the care and attention they show to everyone. Dr. Fellows has been wonderful and I am so happy to have found a vet that I feel really cares about my dogs.

We love Lake City Animal Hospital. They are always very friendly over the phone and in clinic. I've experienced first hand their professionalism in all areas of the clinic, high level of expertise and experience, and willingness to go above and beyond.

Because the owner commented on my very basic post, I will update this. I did give an extra star because of the fast response. Your staff is very nice, but I feel that every time I go I am trying to be sold something. Prices do seem high, though they are not the highest. I have used lake City animal hospital for the last 14 years and will continue to support them, but hopefully they don't raise the price.

As a dog owner we know that our animals are our babies and their health is so important. When I had a horrible experience at Banfield I decided to take my dog here and it started off great although they were a little bit pricey. Today I came in to get my dog a cytopoint injection for her severe allergies, I was quoted $30 over the phone. To my surprise when I went to check out I was told it was going to be $115.31 I told them that this is not what I was quoted and I cannot afford to pay this (as a broke college student). The lady got up and walked off without saying a word and was gone for a while when she came back she still did not speak to me and I was told I had to pay the $115. While this might not seem like such a big deal the visit before this we came in for a single shot and got talked into more and more and ended up paying $700! During this appointment the staff was talking about us right in front of our faces and were just blatantly rude and disrespectful. Today during my visit it was just the tip of the ice burg while being quoted wrong and still having to pay the $115 the staff member was extremely rude, would not speak to me, and stormed off. I was a reoccurring client with my dog since she came in very frequently being a sick puppy and all, so it is absolutely wild the disrespect and almost scam like behavior of the staff. They did offer for me to listen to the audio of the phone call where I was quoted wrong but i declined because I was so upset and just wanted to get out of there. My family and I will no longer be supporting this business anymore.
