Dr Lee and her entire staff are the best veterinarian team you could ask for! They were able to squeeze my Peanut in to get her checked in when she had been sick for a few days. After a short stay at the vets my cat is back to the same playful self she was before. Both of the vets at this clinic are amazing, the vet techs are extremely knowledgeable and compassionate and the front desk staff are incredibly warm and knowledgeable as well. I live an hour away and commute to this vet - there’s no other like them in the area.

Lake Area has been our trusted vet for many years. We have received nothing but superb care for our four legged family members. They will squeeze you in for an emergency appointment, love your babies when you board them, listen to you cry and give you a hug when it’s time to say goodbye to your 13 year old co-pilot, and celebrate with you when you welcome home a new one. They even give you a follow-up call to check on your pet when they’ve had treatment. When you choose them, they choose you back. Dr. Susie Lee is an amazing veterinarian and has built a competent and caring team. All three of my dogs have received top-notch care at this clinic. I love the kindness and caring I always receive and the ways they go the extra mile to serve their clients well.

My dog got sick and I was very thankful that this vet was willing to take my dog on an emergency situation on a Sunday. However, they told me he had parvo even though the parvo test came back negative. They kept him for almost a week and charged me almost $1500. I had paid 200$ when I first dropped him off. I paid another another 200$ after he was there 3 days. And then another 400$ on the day I picked him up. I was told they would split the remaining amount up that I can make payments. I owed 520$ and when I called to make sure they would split that payment and not charge me the full amount, due to the fact I had other unexpected expenses that came up (fulfilling my propane so I can heat my house) I was told no. So I appreciate the fact they kept my dog alive on an emergency basis...but given the fact it was an emergency, and they do not take care connect or other pet insurance...not to mention I had over half the bill paid for already and only wanted them to split up my payment in two so it didn't overdraft my account.... It's disappointing that they were so quick to say NO. I was planning on becoming a full time patient... But I will take my business else where. For an area where the closet emergency vet is over 50 miles away...yes they will open their doors on a Sunday...but when it comes times for them to get their money...they don't care if they leave you without a dime during the holidays in the cold with kids and your dog... They will charge your card no exceptions.

They are the only vet I know of that will let me bring all my dogs in at once for rabies vac and just charge for the shots, no office charge. I have 5 dogs so this is a great service to us to keep our babies legal to keep up with rabies vac. They are very kind and we appreciate them very much! The 1st pic is of the 4 raised together, spring will be 10yrs and 11 yrs old and the pug mix will be 5yrs. We love them all so much! Thank you Lake Area Vet!
