Lake Animal Hospital

Last year we added a new member to our family and we couldn't be happier with the quality and level of service and care they have given Ginger. She's a Schnoodle rescue and needed a spay. We learned she has a heart murmur and how to care for her eyes (she doesn't make tears) and ears (yeast infection). They did a full checkup and blood work so we can rest assured there isn't anything serious to take care of. This week she had rabies and Distemper shots. My granddaughter, age 9, is interested in being a veterinarian technician. The staff at the front desk was hoping to get us into a room so she could learn about giving the shots. It didn't work out but they offered candy which she was excited about. They are great to partner with for care for our sweet Ginger doodle and welcomed our kiddos wholeheartedly.

We can't say enough good things about Lake Animal Hospital and their incredible team. The staff is not only friendly and welcoming, but they truly go above and beyond in caring for our Irish Wolfhounds. The doctors are exceptionally knowledgeable and always take the time to explain everything in detail, giving us complete confidence in their care. We trust them entirely with our beloved dogs and highly recommend their services to anyone looking for top-notch veterinary care. They are worth every penny, and we wouldn't take our pets anywhere else!

We recently adopted two new kittens that already had records at Lake Animal Hospital, so we continued with their care there. We've been very impressed with all the staff and the facility. Everyone from the front of house admins to the vet techs and of course the doctors have been warm, knowledgeable, and enthusiastic about our kittens. The only thing to be aware of: coming south on 61 (55 mph zone) is a little hairy waiting to turn left into the parking lot, so signal and slow down early!

Looking for a new Vet and tried Lake Animal Hospital and quite thankful I did! Smells clean- which is a non-negotiable for me. If I walk in and all I smell is bleach and urine (like most vets) I’m out. Nice lobby- plenty of room for animals and owners. Staff was wonderful and quick. I was given treatment options and respect. I have a very good feeling this will be our new vet for the long haul! As I was checking out, another vet tech (other than the one in room) came through and called my dog by name and pet her. So she must have met her in the back and remembered, which was moving!!!

I wanted to Thank all of you at Lake Animal Hospital, especially Dr. K. Roeser for your Love, Compassion, honesty and over and above Quality care for our P.C., (feral kitty we adopted at 7 months). P.C. (purr constantly), was a very important family member. We were very blessed to have her for 13 years. 8 months. She was so loving, outgoing and adaptable. She loved car rides, vacations up north to Grandpa's lake cabin, playing and window shopping from her 76" high tree tower. She loved people, being brushed and she loved her vet, Dr. Roeser. She was a very loyal companion. When P.C. was diagnosed with terminal small cell lymphoma in her G.I. in 2019 by emergency vet clinic doctor. The prognosis was her quality of life was maybe 3 to 6 months. She was still very active, playful and happy with the exception of weight loss and now cancer treatment. They offered chemo therapy with no promises. I knew chemo would have killed her so I opted out of chemo therapy. Following appointment was with Dr. Roeser at Lake Animal Hospital. Best decision I made. Thank you Dr. Roeser for guiding us through the decisions and Best care for P.C. She would not had those additional 3 years and 7months of Quality of Life and Happiness without you and your Team at lake Animal Hospital. Thank you most of all for your honesty when it was time and P.C started to decline. When she needed to be in that Better place in Heaven where she could be the kitty she loved to be, free of cancer and without limitations. Thank You Lake Animal Hospital Team. To all of you there for making P.C.'s passing yesterday very peaceful. Your Compassion and Love for P.C. and us was much appreciated and will not be forgotten. Gerilynn and Dylan Dearest P.C. you will never be forgotten, only missed until we see you again.
