I’m Amy Wurfbaum. My daughter worked for Dr Breite in HS, and has now graduated Cornell and is a practicing Vet in NJ. I myself still go to Dr Breite who has taken care of my dogs for years. The staff is wonderful as is Dr Breite. Hasn’t missed a diagnosis with my Shepherd yet! Since Ace is a large dog, he is held in a manner so he can’t bite. No one has ever strangled him by holding him so I find it hard to believe that he would ever do that. I’ve also had Animals which were put to sleep. I was told to bring them right over and it was done, as far as the front desk the only thing they tried to do was to console me nobody was ever ever rude to me, just the opposite!

Everyone in the office is awesome and super compassionate about our cat Romey. He received great care and made a turn around in his condition. They were very accepting as I would bring him for IV treatment/ daily hospitalization over his triaditis, which was causing him extreme discomfort and may had been life threatening.

Only visited once. The vet refused care for my anxious (non-aggressive) rescue dog after only 30 seconds-1 minute of having her in a choke hold, which was the first and only tactic used to handle her. After talking with more people I know with furry friends, I found out this is abnormal. Will not be returning, as my dog left even more anxious than she went in and deregulated. Time was not spent getting to know her or to try and make her comfortable. Unfortunately, I’m really disappointed given how great the reviews were.

Do not bring your pet here to be put down; The doctor has no compassion.
