Kitty Klinic

The plus side: We had an excellent and kind senior vet here who my late husband called “Dr Mike”. Not sure if he’s there now, but he was awesome. The not so good side: Don’t buy the Saturday appts thing. I recall them cancelling at least three of mine in less than two months. Maybe it changed but Saturday appts were “by vet convenience only”. Desk staff could be dismissive and rude. Vets other than Dr Mike were a very mixed bag. We had a “Dr. Bert” who guilted us hard because I brought my Senior citizen mom’s cat in with an eye issue I had only just noticed and she had not. Then she sent us out to an eye specialist an hour from my home when I found out I we could have gone to one 20 minutes from my home. Later on, I got shamed for having a 21 year old cat with some ingrown nails I brought him in for, and I brought him in as soon as I noticed them. My animals and I are close, so not as though he was a neglect victim. I would have said fees were high, but that’s all vets now. I currently take my cat to a vet who accepts Trupanion Direct pay in case I run into big expensive issues with him. I can’t say I don’t recommend this place as they do know what they are doing for sure and really care about the cats. A little less judgement, particularly for those of us who genuinely love our cats would be nice.

Very friendly and helpful staff! They loved my new kitten Matey and got him all his shots and cleaned his ears with only some squeaking and squirming in protest, mostly from not being able to explore the exam room. It's clear that everyone there loves cats and has a good sense of humor about their antics. They explained everything they did and why they did it, along with follow-up plans to make sure he gets his boosters and gets rid of any parasites he may have from before we adopted him. Also very affordable. For a little over half the price of a visit and two vaccinations at a big chain clinic, I was able to get Matey vaccinated, treated for ear mites, and examined for other common found kitten concerns. Definitely would reccomend. Needed a last minute appointment for my Persian Hemi. Kitty klinic got us in next day and made me feel confident that my cat is in good hands and she got the treatment that was needed. Hemi says thank you, as do I. Hemi is back to 100% thanks to kitty klinic. The shot worked wonders and her ears are clean and she's a happy kitty. Thank you again for fitting us in so last minute and as a client from out of state.

I’m a first time cat owner (adopted Joey in August!) and Kitty Klinic has been AMAZING! Joey is currently recovering from a serious, very scary case of cat acne and Dr. Mike and his staff have been amazing to Joey and me. Joey even had to stay overnight for 2 days and everyone here treated him so well. Kitty Klinic truly cares about cats and the owners. I’m so grateful I got Joey in here and I’ll continue to go here for as long as I live in MN! Here’s a picture of Joey after a long hard day.

Ghibli had a great experience! Staff was knowledgeable and very sweet to my new baby. The clinic is an old building but I found it to be charming and quirky. Would recommend!
