Been taking my furry girls here for 18 years. Family business. Absolutely friendly. I trust my veterinarians. They saved my baby Pekingese when she was so very very sick at 6 weeks. She lived a good 13 years when she wasn't expected to live 2 months. They know you and your fur baby by name and treat you like family!

As a full-service "Pet Hospital," Kingston Animal Hospital, PC offers an extensive range of veterinary services designed to address every aspect of a pet's health throughout their life stages. Their comprehensive offerings typically include, but are not limited to, preventive and wellness care, which forms the bedrock of long-term pet health. This encompasses routine physical examinations, tailored vaccination protocols to protect against common diseases, and comprehensive parasite prevention programs for fleas, ticks, and heartworm. Diagnostic capabilities are a cornerstone of their service, likely including in-house laboratory services for rapid blood work, urinalysis, and fecal analysis, as well as advanced imaging such as digital radiography (X-rays), ultrasound, and endoscopy. These tools allow for accurate and timely diagnoses. The hospital is equipped for various surgical procedures, from routine spays and neuters to more complex soft tissue and orthopedic surgeries, performed in a modern surgical suite with up-to-date anesthesia equipment and surgical monitoring. Dental care, crucial for overall health, would include professional cleanings, extractions, and oral health assessments. Furthermore, the clinic is prepared to handle emergency and urgent care cases during business hours, providing immediate attention for unexpected illnesses or injuries. The specific mention of "they saved my baby Pekingese when she was so very very sick at 6 weeks" highlights their expertise in critical care and their dedication to even the most fragile patients. Beyond these, modern veterinary practices often include services like microchipping for identification, nutritional counseling, behavioral consultations, pain management, and specialized care for senior pets, ensuring comfort and quality of life in their golden years. Their reported status as the only AAHA-accredited hospital in Roane County and one of eight in the greater Knoxville area further underscores their commitment to a high standard of veterinary care, as AAHA accreditation involves rigorous evaluation of quality standards in areas like facilities, equipment, and patient care.
Several key features distinguish Kingston Animal Hospital, PC and contribute to its strong reputation. Foremost among these is the longevity of their client relationships, with some clients entrusting their pets to the hospital for 18 years, indicating profound trust and satisfaction. This long-term engagement often stems from the "family business" ethos, where clients feel known and valued, and their pets are treated with individualized attention. The exceptional medical outcomes, as highlighted by the survival of a 6-week-old Pekingese against grim odds, speak volumes about the veterinary team's skill, dedication, and diagnostic prowess. Another standout feature is their communicative and empathetic approach. As one reviewer noted, "They explained everything amazingly to me, and came up with a plan with me to make sure he is comfortable and that I have more time with my baby boy." This collaborative and transparent communication is invaluable, empowering pet owners to make informed decisions about their pet's health. The sentiment of treating pets "just like he is a little human" or "like family" emphasizes the deeply compassionate and respectful care provided. This humanistic approach, combined with professional medical expertise, creates a holistic care experience. Their long-standing presence since April 13, 1987, under Dr. Kathryn Cox, reflects a commitment to continuous improvement and adoption of state-of-the-art diagnostic and therapeutic technology, such as surgical and therapeutic laser, endoscopy, ultrasound, and digital radiology, all of which enhance their ability to provide advanced care.
In terms of promotional information, Kingston Animal Hospital, PC's most potent marketing tool is undoubtedly its strong base of loyal, satisfied clients. Testimonials like those provided are far more impactful than traditional advertising, serving as genuine endorsements of their quality and compassionate care. Leveraging these client stories, particularly those highlighting successful interventions in critical cases or long-term wellness, would be highly effective. For local users, emphasizing their status as a deeply embedded "family business" with a long history in the community would foster a sense of trust and familiarity. Promotions could highlight their comprehensive range of services, especially advanced diagnostics and surgical capabilities, showcasing them as a one-stop solution for diverse pet health needs. Advertising their AAHA accreditation is also a significant promotional advantage, as it signifies adherence to the highest standards in veterinary medicine. They could promote specialized services such as senior pet care, given the reviewer's positive experience with a 15-year-old pet, showcasing their commitment to enhancing the quality of life for aging animals. Furthermore, publicizing their focus on client education and collaborative treatment planning, as praised by a new client, could attract those seeking a more engaged and informed healthcare journey for their pets. Offering online resources, appointment booking, and refill requests, as some modern animal hospitals do, can enhance convenience and promote their accessibility. Community engagement through local events, pet health seminars, or partnerships with animal shelters could further solidify their presence and reputation within Kingston and the broader Roane County area.

Oct 30, 2024 · Kelly “Smiley” McCulleyMy first time being here, and I have to say they are amazing. They treated my 15 year-old just like he is a little human. They explained everything amazingly to me, and came up with a plan with me to make sure he is comfortable and that I have more time with my baby boy. 5 🌟 all the way. Love them.
Dec 05, 2024 · Corey CoffeyThe Simpson family at Kingston Animal Hospital have been our vets since 1987. If your concern is absolutely the best possible care there is no better place. Our pets are as comfortable with them as are we. They take as much time as necessary to discuss all treatment options allowing us to choose what is best for our family. Whether yearly vaccinations, emergencies, or end of life decisions - their care, concern, and compassion over the past 37 years have ensured our pets always get the best possible care. With pet insurance we don't have to compromise quality of care. They are extremely knowledgeable and current with latest news, developments, and breakthroughs in veterinarian science.
Feb 17, 2023 · Willow StaffordI did not like this Vet, I got there and could not open the door because they had a painter inside with paint everywhere, and the vet came to door and said oh come on in.. I had an 85 lb dog , I could not take him in and let him get into all the paint buckets and other chemicals. I finally got him in and I had to put my dog on the weight machine myself and I wasn't allowed to go back with him while they examined him. I did not like that, and wish I had demanded to go back. I was told he got a shot but I did not see it given , I was given a few antibiotics, a small bottle of shampoo, and the bill was $400.00. OUTRAGEOUS! also the vet was not good with my dog and I could tell my dog did not like that man because he would not even go near him and he jumps on everybody and knows no strangers , but he wouldn't go around him , he had to be made to go with him into the exam room. I was terrified and regret ever taking him there , never again!! I had this horrible feeling from the 1st second I was there!!!
Nov 06, 2023 · Sonja LynnI wanted to post an update to my original review, my wife and I received a personalized letter from Dr. Simpson discussing our interaction and he was very sincere in his desire to make things right. I APPRECIATE him for taking time out of his bust schedule to address our concerns, due to his action he will ABSOLUTELY have our business going forward, THANK YOU for being responsive !!!! Look forward to our next visit !!!! I suggest finding anther vet clinic, the vet is very CONDESCENDING and talks to you like a child !!! Pricing is fair, but customer service is mediocre at best.
