Today Josie had a Vet appointment for her wellness exam and some vaccinations. The Vet Tech came in and told me, “Josie can only have 1 Lepto Booster and would have to come back in 4 weeks for the second Lepto Booster” I told the Tech that I’d like her to get the full shot. So I asked the Tech why she’d have to have in two? She couldn’t answer that and said the Vet could explain it to me. When the Tech left the Room, I could hear her talk about me that I told her I wanted the full vaccine. So when Dr. Schoeller the fill in relief Veterinarian came in she totally unleashed on me. She asked me if I knew that Veterinary Suicide is high b/c of people like me. She said I upset the staff & her, then threatened me she could refuse service today. I told her it’s not my fault that Josie is over due for the vaccine b/c when I called to schedule the appointment that they’re scheduling months out due to them only having 1 Veterinarian left! Her response to me was, “well you called in April!” No, I didn’t b/c it is April. She insisted she was right. I then asked her if Dr. Schneider still worked there?” She told me it was irrelevant. We’ve went to the Kiel Veterinary since we moved in 2005 to Elkhart. Since Dr. Schutte retired and sold the clinic, to a Corporation the clinic has changed so much. So much so that all but 1 Veterinarian left to go else where. Many of the Vet Tech’s left also. During Josie’s appointment, poor Jo Jo was shaking as she’s afraid to go there since breaking her leg. She was kinda tucked under the bench seat. Instead of being compassionate, the Vet grabbed ahold of Josie’s collar and pulled her out. Did her exam and then stuck the shot in Josie without rubbing the area or anything. Just jabbed it in her!! After that I was livid! So I scheduled the second Booster in 4 weeks. After that, we will absolutely No Longer take our dogs there to receive shity care!!! I called the Elkhart Lake Veterinary Clinic to set up a meet & greet. The receptionist at the Elkhart Clinic told me they have gotten more clientele from the Kiel Veterinary Clinic. I was able to record some of our experience today.

Welcome to Kiel Veterinary Clinic

Welcome to the introduction of Kiel Veterinary Clinic, a local Pet Hospital situated at 575 Belitz Dr, Kiel, WI 53042, USA. This clinic serves the community of Kiel and surrounding areas, providing a range of veterinary services for your beloved pets. You can reach them by phone at (920) 894-3414 or via mobile at +1 920-894-3414.

As a Pet Hospital, Kiel Veterinary Clinic aims to be a primary point of contact for pet owners seeking medical care, preventative services, and advice for their animals. Understanding the importance of a comfortable and reassuring environment for both pets and their owners is crucial in veterinary care. While specific details about the clinic's physical environment are not explicitly available in the provided information, a typical veterinary clinic strives to offer clean and organized examination rooms, waiting areas designed to minimize stress for animals, and potentially surgical suites and recovery areas depending on the scope of their services.

The core of any Pet Hospital lies in the services it provides. Based on the limited information, Kiel Veterinary Clinic offers at least wellness exams and vaccinations, as indicated in one of the customer reviews. Wellness exams are fundamental to maintaining a pet's health, involving a thorough physical check-up by a veterinarian to detect any potential health issues early. Vaccinations are also a vital preventative measure, protecting pets from various infectious diseases. The mention of a "Lepto Booster" suggests that the clinic offers vaccinations against Leptospirosis, a bacterial disease that can affect both animals and humans.

However, one of the provided customer reviews raises significant concerns regarding the quality of service and the overall experience at Kiel Veterinary Clinic. This review details an interaction where the customer felt their concerns about their pet's vaccination schedule were not adequately addressed, leading to a confrontational exchange with a relief veterinarian. The reviewer also mentions a perceived lack of compassion towards their pet, who was exhibiting fear during the examination. Furthermore, the review highlights a reported decrease in staff, including veterinarians and vet technicians, since the clinic was sold to a corporation. This observation suggests potential changes in the clinic's operations and possibly its service quality over time.

On the other hand, another customer review presents a contrasting positive experience. This long-term client, who has been visiting the clinic since 2018, praises the "excellent care and attention" received by their two cats from the veterinarians and staff. They specifically mention the clinic's helpfulness with concerns and questions, their kindness during difficult times such as having to euthanize a pet, and overall express having "no negative remarks." This positive feedback indicates that some pet owners have had satisfactory experiences at Kiel Veterinary Clinic.

Considering these contrasting reviews, it's important for local users to weigh these experiences when considering Kiel Veterinary Clinic for their pet care needs. The negative review raises concerns about communication, professionalism, and the level of care provided, while the positive review highlights instances of excellent service and compassionate staff. It's possible that experiences may vary depending on the specific veterinarian or staff member encountered, as well as the nature of the pet's visit.

Features of a typical well-regarded Pet Hospital often include:

  • Experienced and compassionate veterinary staff.
  • Comprehensive medical services, including preventative care, diagnostics, and treatment of illnesses and injuries.
  • A clean and comfortable environment for pets.
  • Clear communication and explanation of treatment plans to pet owners.
  • Empathy and understanding towards both pets and their owners, especially during stressful situations.

Based on the available information, it is difficult to definitively assess all the features of Kiel Veterinary Clinic. The positive review suggests the presence of caring staff and good communication in some instances. However, the negative review indicates potential shortcomings in these areas at times.

Regarding promotional information, there is no specific promotional content provided in the given text. Typically, a Pet Hospital might offer introductory discounts for new clients, seasonal promotions on specific services like vaccinations or dental cleanings, or loyalty programs for regular customers. To learn about any current promotions or special offers at Kiel Veterinary Clinic, it would be best to contact them directly via phone.

In conclusion, Kiel Veterinary Clinic, operating as a Pet Hospital in Kiel, Wisconsin, offers veterinary services such as wellness exams and vaccinations. While one customer reports a negative experience with communication and care, another long-term client expresses satisfaction with the services received. Local users are encouraged to consider these varying perspectives and potentially contact the clinic directly to inquire about their services, environment, and current practices to make an informed decision about their pet's healthcare needs.

We’ve been using this clinic since about 2018, when we moved to the area. We have two cats and we feel they’ve received excellent care and attention from the veterinarians and staff at this clinic. Over the course of the last few years they’ve helped with concerns and questions and shown kindness in times of distress. They were incredibly kind and empathetic when we had to put our previous pets down. I have no negative remarks.

We are so comfortable with and grateful for Dr. Schneider and so is Jaxy (well as comfortable as he’s ever going to be at the vet). We are confident in her knowledge and approach. She is so kind and nice. That’s high praise as we were #TeamDrSchuette for many many years :)

Everyone from the vet to the receptionist we're extremely friendly and knowledgeable to their jobs. And they take very good care of mittens our little girl. Here she thought she should be in the nativity scene. Could have been I guess

Our previous vet was in Sheboygan and it was just ok, because it was closed due to the Coronavirus and I didn't like having to wait outside until they were finished with Megan and her puppies Bella and Dobbie. Additionally they hold your animals hostage until your credit card payment clears! I decided to check out Kiel veterinarian clinic due to the recommendation of a friend. And I was pleased to see that this clinic was open and the vet had an excellent rapport with my dog Megan and my friend and I too. The interior is very open and welcoming, as well as the vets! While my dog Megan was a little anxious about the exam, the vet was very reassuring to my dog Megan and extremely patient and knowledgeable! Granted the trip over there was about 20 minutes or so from here in Sheboygan, but for me personally I thought it was well worth the extra time to get there! However the price that they charge is extremely low. I had an exam on Megan and I got one of her shots, all it cost me was less than $50.00! Lol
