Very people. The Vets have seen two of my dogs and I'm happy with the care received. I'm a very picky fur baby mom, so their care is top on my list. Tater Tot was under the weather and my poor pup had a terrible skun infection. They're both doing great and ready for the next road trip!

Sep 07, 2023 · Tammie FOBrienIf you need a compassionate Vet, reliable and trustful diagnosis and treatment for your pet, then this is your place, No Question. My flurry baby was in a very bad breathing condition and Dr. C was very kind, understanding and All the Staff very supportive with me. They treated my Yorkie like a real human baby. I don’t have words to only say: Thanks and the condolences note hand written by Dr. C means a lot of the quality of human being and Vet that she is. My baby died in a blink of eye, it was meant to be, but God was always supporting and the staff helped me through all the process of the cremation. Now I can say the cremation service is excellent: they put her in a little heart with her name in a gold tag, her hair in a little bag, the footprints 👣 and certificate. Trust me the service and professionalism in this place is beyond excellent. Thank you very much.
Aug 23, 2024 · Nora FelicianoWhen I lived in Jacksonville, FL I had at the time taken my 3 pups to this clinic. During this time I had a Samoyed named Zeus. I had taken him to this clinic because he was showing distressing symptoms such as lethargy, very dark and liquid diarrhea, vomitting bile/water and he was barely eating, if at all. I talk to the receptionist and they said to bring him in ASAP, so I did. I had Dr. Maria for the appointment and I explained to her the symptoms. She was very dismissive and did not listen to my concerns, stating that if he is not eating, he can't poop. She sent me home with cernia and propectlin. I took him back the next day requesting a different doctor. This time, I had Dr. Rod and I explained to him what was happening. He listened to me and took Zeus back for more tests. He did in-house blood work, which came back abnormal, so we proceeded to do an emergency ultrasound. I left Zeus there and waited all day because they needed to have a specialist come in for the ultrasound. Once I got the call- I was told it was liver cancer. He shortly passed away on December 25, 2018. I feel such a pain because I should have pushed and advocated more when Dr. Maria was being so rude and dismissive. Fast forward to a few months later I had adopted another dog and I had her for almost a year without incident with my senior pup, however one day when I has laying with him she had came into the bedroom and attacked him with me in the middle. After I was able to free myself from her jaws, I was able to remove her from him. It was an intense fight. I grabbed my 3rd dog and my senior, who was injured and left to go immediately to the vet. I called while I was on my was and explained. When I got there they took him back immediately and I went to the hospital. After I was released, I went to pick him and his brother up, and I was told by Dr. Cotto, who was his doctor, that there was actually no injury, just slobber, and he is fine. I just want to say that the brown dog in my photo feed is the one who was attacked. He does not have very much fur. So after a very long day, I took both pups home, feeling okay that he was check out and good. The next day, I went to leash him, and he cried so loud that I knew he was in a lot of pain. I looked where he was sleeping and there was blood all on his blanket. I took him back immediately and a doctor who was filling in at the time saw him. He had a huge gash and puncture wound on his neck. He underwent surgery for sutures and had a Penrose tube inserted for drainage. He made a full recovery. The dismissive and disregard for what I was saying and the rushing to move patients along has caused me to doubt the professionalism and understanding for half their staff. After these instances I only had Dr. Rod as their doctor because I was never heard or reciprocated by these 2 doctors. Very upsetting that I had put my trust in them.
Sep 29, 2024 · Kayla SWe love Julington Creek Animal Hospital! We have been taking our dogs there for over 18yrs and have always been happy with the care they receive. A few years ago one of our dogs was old and had heart failure, they were very kind and compassionate when it was time to put her to sleep. They recognize that your pet is part of your family. 2 of our dogs are rescues and had various health issues when we got them. They helped us figure out what was wrong and the best treatment for them without breaking the bank. Their prices are comparable to other vets and they offer appointment scheduling in addition to walk-ins. My dogs love it there❤
Nov 03, 2018 · Cindylou WhoThis is a great Vet Clinic! We’re very particular with our “baby”; Ty, our Rottweiler, and Dr. Z is so good with him! She’s calm and gentle, as well as practical in her recommendations. Ty is 10-years-old, and has Degenerative Disc Disease, which causes him back pain. We’re blessed that he’s still alive at 10, and thankful for such a sweet and caring vet and office!
