Today was my first visit and well worth the trip. All the staff was friendly, caring, and attentive. They listened to all concerns and addressed each one of them individually. The physician, Dr. Dinwiddie thoroughly communicated her findings and answered all questions asked. I would definitely by pass all other animal hospitals when seeking emergency care and treatment for my dog. Thank you very much for the work that all of you do! Welcome to Jimmy Rollins Center for Animal Rehabilitation
Hello Swedesboro, New Jersey, and surrounding area pet owners! We are pleased to introduce you to the Jimmy Rollins Center for Animal Rehabilitation, located at 392 Kings Hwy in our community. Operating as a Pet Hospital with a specific focus on animal rehabilitation, this center provides specialized services and likely offers related goods to aid in the recovery and well-being of your animal companions. To offer a detailed introduction, we will consider the potential environment, services, features, and insights from the provided customer reviews.
As a Pet Hospital specializing in animal rehabilitation, the Jimmy Rollins Center likely offers a range of therapies and treatments designed to help animals recover from injuries, surgeries, or manage chronic conditions. Animal rehabilitation, similar to physical therapy for humans, utilizes various modalities to improve mobility, reduce pain, and enhance the overall quality of life for animals. These services might include therapeutic exercises, hydrotherapy (such as underwater treadmills), manual therapies (like massage and stretching), laser therapy, electrostimulation, and the development of customized home exercise programs.
The environment of the Jimmy Rollins Center for Animal Rehabilitation would be tailored to facilitate these rehabilitation therapies. This might include dedicated spaces equipped with specialized equipment such as underwater treadmills, ramps, balance boards, and other tools used for therapeutic exercises. There would likely be examination rooms for initial assessments and progress evaluations. The atmosphere would aim to be supportive and encouraging for animals undergoing the rehabilitation process.
A key feature of this center is its specialization in animal rehabilitation. This suggests that the staff, including veterinarians and veterinary technicians, would have specific training and expertise in this field. The mention of a "physician, Dr. Dinwiddie" in one of the reviews indicates the presence of a veterinarian overseeing the care. A center focused on rehabilitation may also collaborate with general practice veterinarians and veterinary surgeons, receiving referrals for animals needing post-operative care or rehabilitation for specific conditions.
The services offered would primarily revolve around rehabilitation. This would begin with a comprehensive evaluation of the animal's condition, including assessment of gait, range of motion, pain levels, and functional abilities. Based on this assessment, a tailored rehabilitation plan would be developed. The center would then provide the prescribed therapies and monitor the animal's progress, adjusting the plan as needed. While the primary focus is rehabilitation, as a Pet Hospital, they might also offer some general wellness services or have the capacity to address acute issues, as suggested by the positive review mentioning seeking "emergency care and treatment."
Now, let's consider the insights from the provided customer reviews. One reviewer describes their first visit as "well worth the trip," praising the friendliness, caring, and attentiveness of all the staff. They specifically highlighted Dr. Dinwiddie's thorough communication of findings and willingness to answer questions. This reviewer stated they would "definitely by pass all other animal hospitals when seeking emergency care and treatment" for their dog, expressing strong satisfaction with the care received.
The second review presents a contrasting experience. This reviewer mentions bringing in a "blind baby dear" (presumably a deer) and being refused care. They question if the center is "not supposed to be an animal rehabilitation?" This review raises a point about the scope of animals and conditions the center is willing or equipped to treat. Rehabilitation centers may focus primarily on domestic animals, such as dogs and cats, and might not have the resources or expertise to care for wildlife.
These reviews suggest that the Jimmy Rollins Center for Animal Rehabilitation provides positive and comprehensive care for at least some domestic animals, with a focus on rehabilitation and potentially broader veterinary services. The staff are perceived as friendly and caring, and the veterinarians as thorough in their communication. However, there might be limitations on the types of animals they can treat, particularly wildlife.
Regarding goods for sale, a rehabilitation center might offer products to support ongoing care at home, such as specialized braces, exercise equipment, or nutritional supplements. However, the primary focus would be on the rehabilitation services themselves.
There is no specific promotional information provided in the reviews. To learn about any current promotions or the full range of services offered, it would be best to contact the center directly.
To get in touch with the Jimmy Rollins Center for Animal Rehabilitation, you can call them at (856) 467-8668 or +1 856-467-8668. Their address is 392 Kings Hwy, Swedesboro, NJ 08085, USA. If you are interested in their rehabilitation services or general veterinary care, reaching out to them directly would be the best way to get detailed information tailored to your needs.
In summary, the Jimmy Rollins Center for Animal Rehabilitation in Swedesboro, NJ, operates as a Pet Hospital specializing in animal rehabilitation. Customer reviews indicate friendly and attentive staff, thorough veterinary care, and a positive experience for at least one dog owner seeking emergency care and treatment. However, another review suggests they may not treat all types of animals, particularly wildlife. For local pet owners seeking rehabilitation services or general veterinary care, contacting the center directly is recommended to understand the full scope of their offerings.
