We have been bringing our dogs to Jefferson Veterinary Hospital for quite some time and have had the opportunity to see all of the doctors. Each one has provided excellent care, and we have never been disappointed. However, we want to especially recognize Dr. Smith for her outstanding level of understanding, patience, and expertise. One of our pups struggles with chronic ear infections due to allergies, and Dr. Smith’s knowledge and attentive care have made a world of difference. She takes the time to thoroughly explain treatment options, answer all of our questions, and ensure that we feel confident in the care plan. Her compassion and dedication to finding solutions tailored to our dog’s needs have truly stood out. I wish I could give 1000 stars! Dr.Ahalt saved my dog and did it cheaper than anyone else willing to do his surgery. Every single person I met there was very kind and helpful. You can really tell they care about people’s animals. They take an extra step about caring for your pet.I will be forever grateful that they saved my 10 year old dog Case and took such great care of him. If it wasn’t for Dr.Ahalt and his team I don’t think Case would be sleeping next to me now. Thank you so much Jefferson Vet!

The staff at Jefferson Veterinary Hospital are amazing Sam, Michelle Melissa, Lauren and Dr Ahalt. They took good care of all 3 of my furbabies as we make our way to Germany. Special thanks to Erin for preparing all the necessary health certificates ahead of time. To my military folks if you are pcsing overseas they will take care of you.

My dog Rodeo injured/tore his CCL. I called many vet offices in the area, and Jefferson came back with a reasonable estimate quote for surgery. Plus, they were able to accommodate him the fastest for a consult. Another vet office couldn't even fit him in for a consult for over two months. He wasn't a good candidate for surgery due to age and Kidney disease, but I get a monthly pain shot for him. The vet we saw was very helpful and informative. My boy is now able to climb steps on his own and has been managing much better.

My cat's chin was swollen and I was able to get him in the next day. Visit was quick but diagnosed him for what I had thought was the issue. I have brought all of my cats here for the past 4 years. What I appreciate is that typically I can get then appointments within a day or two if there is an issue. Some of the vets seem more friendly than others but it does not affect the care my cats have received.
