Highly recommend Jasper Pet Clinic. Our dog, Brooks, has been sick for two days and unable to get into his regular vet due to their system being down today. We were able to get in at Jasper Pet Clinic two hours after we called. All of the staff was super friendly and helpful throughout our entire visit!

Jasper Pet Clinic Introduce

For local residents in Jasper, Indiana, searching under the category "Pet Hospital," Jasper Pet Clinic, situated at 1732 IN-56, offers veterinary services with a notable emphasis on accessibility, as highlighted by one customer's positive experience with a same-day appointment. However, it is crucial to present a balanced view based on the available reviews, which also include a deeply concerning account from another customer regarding the outcome of the treatments provided. Therefore, an objective introduction must acknowledge both the reported friendliness and accessibility of the clinic, as well as the serious concerns raised about the effectiveness of their medical care in at least one instance.

One customer offers a positive testimonial regarding their recent experience: "Highly recommend Jasper Pet Clinic. Our dog, Brooks, has been sick for two days and unable to get into his regular vet due to their system being down today. We were able to get in at Jasper Pet Clinic two hours after we called. All of the staff was super friendly and helpful throughout our entire visit!" This review underscores the clinic's ability to provide timely access to care, which can be a significant advantage, especially in urgent situations when a pet's regular veterinarian is unavailable. The reviewer specifically praises the "super friendly and helpful" nature of all the staff, suggesting a positive and supportive environment during the visit. This positive feedback indicates that Jasper Pet Clinic can be a valuable resource for pet owners needing prompt attention for their animals.

Conversely, another customer shares a deeply negative and concerning experience: "This is the 2nd time I have taken a dog there this time was not my first choice my vet was booked. $157 for a dead dog she was my baby you gave her meds like my last dog 2 round of meds and they die something is not right with that. I will never ever bring another dog back there." This starkly contrasting review raises serious concerns about the quality and effectiveness of the medical care provided at Jasper Pet Clinic, at least in this individual's experience. The reviewer notes that this was not their first choice, indicating they might have preferred their regular veterinarian. The fact that they report the death of two dogs after receiving similar medication regimens at this clinic is deeply troubling and suggests a potential issue with the treatment protocols or the diagnosis. The strong vow to "never ever bring another dog back there" reflects a profound level of dissatisfaction and a loss of trust in the clinic's ability to provide adequate care. This negative feedback must be given due consideration when evaluating Jasper Pet Clinic.

Based on the limited information, it is challenging to definitively describe the environment of Jasper Pet Clinic. The positive review mentions "super friendly and helpful" staff, suggesting a welcoming and supportive atmosphere for pet owners during their visit. However, the negative review focuses solely on the outcome of the medical treatment and does not provide insights into the clinic's physical environment. Therefore, while the staff may be perceived as friendly, further information is needed to assess the overall ambiance and facilities of the clinic.

As a "Pet Hospital," Jasper Pet Clinic likely offers a range of veterinary services for pets in the Jasper area. Based on the positive review, they are capable of providing timely appointments for sick animals. The negative review indicates that they provide medical treatment, including the administration of medication. However, without further details, the full scope of their services, including preventative care, surgery, diagnostics, or emergency services, cannot be comprehensively described. The conflicting outcomes reported in the reviews make it difficult to objectively assess the quality and effectiveness of their services.

The key features of Jasper Pet Clinic, based on the limited and conflicting information, include accessibility for appointments, particularly in situations where a regular vet is unavailable (as highlighted by the positive review), and a staff described as "super friendly and helpful." However, a significant concern raised by another customer is the potentially ineffective or even detrimental outcome of the medical treatments provided, with a report of two pets dying after receiving similar medication. This conflicting feedback makes it difficult to establish definitive positive features without further information or a larger consensus from multiple reviews.

No promotional information is mentioned in either of the provided reviews. Veterinary clinics sometimes offer introductory discounts for new clients or other promotions. Local residents in Jasper, IN, who are interested in learning more about the specific services offered by Jasper Pet Clinic, their hours of operation, appointment scheduling procedures, emergency care availability, and any potential new client specials or other promotions that may be available, are encouraged to contact them directly at (812) 482-5711.

In conclusion, for local residents in Jasper, Indiana, searching for a "Pet Hospital," Jasper Pet Clinic at 1732 IN-56 offers accessible and timely appointments, with staff described as friendly and helpful by one reviewer. However, a serious concern has been raised by another customer regarding the effectiveness and outcome of the medical treatments provided, with a report of two pets dying after receiving care at this clinic. Due to this significant discrepancy in customer experiences, local users should exercise caution and consider seeking additional information or reviews before entrusting the care of their pets to Jasper Pet Clinic.

I’ve always had good experiences with this vet til yesterday. I was treated with outright disdain, like I was wasting his time. The person who set the appointment didn’t note everything I said I wanted to discuss and when I brought this up, I was made to feel even worse. Dr. Luff was curt and dismissive with my questions. I thought I was supposed to ask my vet when I had questions about how to best care for my dog? I’ll be finding another vet. I expected better treatment when I’m paying $80 for a total of 5 minutes of his time.

My dog was wrongfully diagnosed and it inevitably killed him. He was put on a seizure medicine which took away his ability to walk. I took him to a different vet and found out his heart murmur was the problem. In all honesty, of your pet needs anything more than just vaccines, go someplace else.

I brought my cat Jack in to get neutered and microchipped. He is doing very good! And I have scheduled my dogs Twinkie and Mowgli for their annual checkups! Glad to have found a place where I know I can trust my pets are in good hands.
