Ironwood Animal Hospital, A Thrive Pet Healthcare Partner

Recently I went to Ironwood Animal Hospital for the first time since I moved and needed to find a new vet, I was not disappointed! The staff was so kind and the Dr Grant the sub Dr was amazing! She was so kind and made me feel better/let me ask her all the questions I had! Also! My cat had a cough and they let me send them a video to look at and we got a game plan going without having to come in and make another appointment to see them again( which made me realize they were not after money and truly care about there patients). We will definitely be going here from now on! I also love that it’s a small business locally own vet not a corporate office!

Ok so they were extremely nice! I loved all of the workers and how well the handled my very nervous dog. They were friendly and also understanding when it came to budget and wanting to buy products elsewhere if it were cheaper somewhere else. They were accommodating and explained things in detail so I knew exactly what was going on. The only reason I gave four stars instead of five is because it did take a little while. They were a little slow, but I am not sure if it is because they were short staffed, or if they were running tests that took a long time. Over all I didn't mind that much since they were so kind and took GREAT care of my dog and tried their best to make him comfortable.

Love going here, it’s not super big but can handle majority of your needs including X-rays on site if needed. I take both my dogs here and prices are reasonable as well. Definitely would recommend.

I brought my dog here, we waited over half an hour to be seen. I couldn’t understand what the vet was saying, but the tech as able to explain plan of treatment. They were suppose to contact me with the next steps of care. It’s been over a week and still no phone calls. I guess their jobs aren’t important to them? I don’t know. I got a second opinion at a vet closer to me, and the care there has been awesome with way better communication and plan of care.

I love Ironwood Animal Hospital. My 2 German Shepherds have vastly different personalities, but are treated the same. I really appreciate the patience rhe staff and Dr Wooten has with my older dog who is a great big baby and afraid of going to the vet. Highly recommend this Vet!
