Love this clinic! I take my two dogs here since they were puppies. My black lab has issues with her pelvis getting out of place and pee inconsistencies (she will pee in her sleep) Dr. Matt adjusts her and it helps her not pee in her sleep. A Conventional vet would not help her issue. I also had issues with conventional vets trying to over push vaccines and things my dogs do not need. IVS does not push anything or make me feel obligated to do something I cannot afford. They test my dogs vaccine levels and only give the a vaccine that presents low. The vet techs are so friendly. IVS also helped diagnose my Aussie with food allergies and he no longer is itchy or having hair loss patches. Ashley always helps me with one of my dogs while I get the other out of the car. Just Signed my third dog up for chiropractic adjustments as his hips have been bugging him since we inherited him. We love IVS and drive a hour for their services.

Welcome to Integrative Veterinary Services
For pet owners in Singapore seeking a unique approach to their animal's health within the "Hospital" category, Integrative Veterinary Services (IVS) in Howell, Michigan, USA, offers a blend of chiropractic and holistic care alongside conventional veterinary medicine. While geographically distant, understanding their services and features can inform your choices for integrative veterinary options closer to home.
Based on customer reviews, Integrative Veterinary Services provides a welcoming environment that pet owners appreciate. The clinic is described as a place where clients "love" to take their pets, indicating a comfortable and positive atmosphere.
A key feature of IVS is their integration of chiropractic adjustments for animals. One reviewer shares a specific instance where their black lab, suffering from pelvic issues and urinary incontinence, found relief through Dr. Matt's adjustments, a problem that conventional veterinary approaches did not resolve. This highlights the potential benefits of chiropractic care for certain musculoskeletal and related issues in pets.
Another significant feature is IVS's approach to preventative care, particularly vaccinations. Unlike some conventional vets who may push for more frequent vaccinations, IVS reportedly "tests my dogs vaccine levels and only give the a vaccine that presents low." This more tailored approach respects the individual needs of each animal and can alleviate concerns about over-vaccination.
The staff at IVS are consistently praised for their friendliness and helpfulness. One reviewer mentions that "The vet techs are so friendly," and another specifically acknowledges "Ashley" for her assistance. This positive interaction with the support staff contributes to a positive overall experience.
IVS also demonstrates expertise in diagnosing and addressing conditions that may be overlooked by conventional medicine, as evidenced by their successful diagnosis of a food allergy in one reviewer's Aussie, leading to the resolution of itching and hair loss. This suggests a willingness to explore and address underlying issues through a broader lens.
Dr. Matt is consistently highlighted as a knowledgeable and understanding veterinarian. Clients appreciate his willingness to guide them along holistic routes, particularly for owners who prefer raw feeding and a more natural approach to animal care. His expertise in both regular and holistic veterinary medicine is seen as a significant advantage, making IVS a valuable resource for pet owners seeking integrative care.
Currently, there is no specific promotional information available for Integrative Veterinary Services in the provided reviews. However, clinics offering specialized services like chiropractic care may have introductory offers or packages. If you were a local client, it would be worth inquiring directly about any such promotions.
In conclusion, Integrative Veterinary Services in Howell, MI, presents an example of an animal "Hospital" that effectively combines chiropractic adjustments and holistic care with conventional veterinary medicine. Their features include a knowledgeable and supportive team, a tailored approach to vaccinations, and success in diagnosing and treating conditions through integrative methods. While this clinic is in the USA, pet owners in Singapore can look for local veterinary hospitals that offer similar integrative services to complement their pet's healthcare.

Mar 20, 2025 · Kara FDr. Matt and his staff are absolutely the best. I have been coming here for many years. I am a fitness professional and also nutritionist and my animals are my family. Dr. Matt understands this. I feed raw and I love my animals like they’re my children. He is one of the only vets in the area that can guide me along my holistic route. He is well rounded in regular veterinary medicine as well as holistic you will not be sorry driving out to see him no matter where you are located. They’re one of a kind. Thank you, Dr. Matt and your wonderful staff for the care that you’ve given me throughout the years! I appreciate you! Elissa
Mar 20, 2025 · Elissa SmithDr. Matt and his staff are very kind, compassionate and knowledgeable. Dr. Matt saved my senior dog from having to have surgery with chiropractic, laser, and acupuncture work. He really knows what he is doing and I would highly recommend him. Also, his office is very soothing, comfortable and warming. My dogs love going there, as do I. A+
Nov 24, 2024 · Jenifer SimbeniThe folks at Integrative Veterinary Services are the best. They have some great people at the front desk as well, always super nice and helpful. You and your pets are in good hands when going here. Thanks for always being friendly, kind and helpful. Five stars for sure!
Mar 21, 2025 · JustinHorrible staff. I had an appointment booked for months in advance for 04/09. I have had to schedule the day off work to make the appointment for my dogs to be seen which I was happy to do as I have had a good experience with this office up until this year. I received a threatening voicemail last night, 03/19, stating that if I did not pay $400 immediately, they would cancel my appointment. This is allegedly money owed for "new pets" to be seen, however, my pets have been seen multiple times. When I called into the office on 03/20 to discuss this and advise I wouldnt have the funds available until 04/04 due to my pay schedule, Rebecca, who answered the phone was pretty much useless and not willing to ask any questions on policy or help me out. I offered to pay half of that and she told me that I was threatening her (because at this point I was frustrated, I was not yelling or anything, I was just frustrated) and became very combative. It is clear that Rebecca has zero customer service skills or advocacy. After I questioned whether or not I could pay on 04/04 (which is still before the 04/09 appointment) and asked how it made sense that I would have to pay $400 out of a $600 vet bill is reasonable she told me that I was threatening her (after she accused me of yelling at her I told her that I wasnt yelling and that I could show her what that looks like) she was going to get off the phone and have someone else call me. Additionally, I was only calling because I received a voicemail threatening to cancel my appointment without immediate payment- treating me as if I skipped out on paying a past bill or something. On the call this morning, Rebecca immediately accused me of threatening to raise my voice and then backpedled claiming to not be threatening me. It was one of the most childish and unprofessional exchanges that I have ever had from a person in a customer service position. It is clear that the staff not only lacks the discerment and intelligence to rationalize with or work with clientele but also they clearly would rather take a $600+ loss vs. wait 2 more weeks for a "down payment". In this economy, that isnt even realistic and the fact that I respectfully called to inquire about alternatives, such as paying $200 now and another $200 on 04/04, they would rather just lose all the business. I have since cancelled the appointment and will no longer be taking my dogs to this place. Horrible horrible front desk service. Good luck, Integrated. Your veterinarians are wonderful but your staff (specifically Rebecca) is doing you no service at all.
