One reviewer described the clinic as having a "very friendly environment" with a "nice and caring" vet who makes you feel like family. This suggests a positive and welcoming atmosphere for pet owners and their animals.
However, another review raises concerns regarding the cost of certain procedures, specifically mentioning a significant increase in the price for a cat neutering procedure. This customer expressed disappointment and questioned the clinic's claim of being a low-cost option, stating that the quoted price was unaffordable and that their experience with the clinic felt "coldhearted." This review also included a negative comment about a neighboring pet store.
Based on this limited information, it is difficult to provide a comprehensive overview of the services offered, the typical environment beyond the friendliness noted by one reviewer, or any specific features or promotional information for Ideal Pet Veterinary Clinic. The significant discrepancy in the two reviews suggests that experiences may vary. Local users may want to consider these contrasting opinions and contact the clinic directly to inquire about their services, pricing for specific procedures, and to assess if their environment and approach meet their needs and expectations for their pet's care.

Apr 11, 2025 · Natasha CabreraIf this is place is supposed to be low-cost, just please tell me why it cost $500 for five minute procedure to neuter-They went from 80 to 500-(This business is disgusting everywhere you go they are overcharging, but claiming to help low income people with spy an Neuter -I guess I’m gonna have to surrender my male cat to the street because nobody’s getting that kind of money from me for five minute procedure I just can’t afford it. I love my cat. I want to take care of him, but the Spring is driving me crazy they were really coldhearted when I called as well.-I wish all these overcharged clinics go out of business as soon as possible. I only gave it a one star because it was reasonable a few years ago but $500 unreasonable And they should not promote low income because that is not low income just as bad as the other. Places& To make matters worse, the pet store next-door sells old and outdated food. They need to close this place and the pet store next-door altogether.
Oct 25, 2024 · S Mya Escalera (Goddess4life)This is my first time writing a review. I just wanted to say that if you're looking for an experience veterinarian then Dr. Kolta is the answer. He's always professional, compassionate and understanding. He will take care of your pet as his own with all the kind, gentle love, and care. The price is very reasonable as well! My dog Olivia is in the best hands!!
Sep 07, 2020 · deeyan jonesWe absolutely love the Vet here, he's an excellent doctor and very knowledgeable about his field. Treats us and our pets with dignity and respect. Very responsive on the phone and truly cares about your pets health. Relatively affordable too
Mar 22, 2024 · Ms RiveraI’m not sure how I feel about this place. Years ago I would have probably said come here, but there is a completely different vet from before as well as front desk staff. I used to take my grandmother’s dog for emergencies and the vet at that time was clearly concerned and knowledgeable. Don’t know what happened to him, possibly he sold the place or just had another vet take over. More recently my experience has to do with a time I thought my newly adopted dog had an injury (a cut/open wound near where he was neutered). I called and immediately was told by the vet directly that I can come over straight away to get him checked. The vet saw me straight away to check for a wound and confirmed everything was fine. He allowed me to sit back down in waiting area to later on discuss any issues I notice and to receive solutions. While in the waiting area, my dog begins barking so I carefully hold him in my lap to avoid him causing anyone else to be uncomfortable and also to avoid him from trying to reach any other pets. Immediately I notice the ladies at the front desk (particularly the vet’s assistant) just staring at me with annoyed eyes. I had to explain he’s not great around other animals and he is a rescue. The assistant, when my time came for check up, immediately asked me if he needed to be restrained (have a harness around mouth to avoid biting). Her asking me this made me question if she even likes her job and has much experience with dogs. I told her directly no, he’s perfectly fine with people, it’s that he gets this way when seeing other dogs due to being a rescue and no he does not bite if that’s her concern. She answered with a “oh, okay” and I carried him in. After I got my dog on the table, I explained to the vet I had some concerns for allergies but not sure if this was environment or diet related. I also noticed my dog’s skin was shedding dry flakes like dandruff. The vet explained the shedding and dry flakes was definitely an allergy concern just he would have to be tested and then provided shots for the allergies depending on what’s found. I said ok, how much would that be. He told me it would be over $200 for the testing and I had to return every two weeks and pay over $200 again for the shots and there’s no timeframe as to how long this would be required - basically I have to start and until my dog shows improvement I had to keep returning every two weeks. I explained I did not have the money for that and I would need a payment plan of some sort. Explained to him I’m disabled and not earning a salary at this time. He told me that wasn’t offered and that I should just go to aspca. Mind you I explained to him that ASPCA refused to see my dog because his issues were not considered an emergency. He didn’t know what to tell me and explained that’s best he could recommend and proceeded to rush me out. That experience told me this guy was more for the money than for my dog’s well being. I got uncomfortable with returning after this. I was very willing to do a payment plan with the little I have, if it’s for my dog’s well being I didn’t care as long as my dog was going to be well, but this was not an option here. I don’t know if they take insurances, it seems most who come here do the yearly vaccine requirements or come in an emergency to put their pets to sleep. After I left I decided to simply do some online research for my fur child’s skin issue and found a company called Coat Defense. I bought their shampoo and powder and I also found a balm by Natural Dog Company, spent around $60 or so, received my items quickly and within two weeks my fur child was no longer flaking and itching much less than before. Turns out it was possibly a simple hotspot issue due to environmental allergies. I solved this problem on my own by simply researching online. Probably would’ve been better off not wasting time to go here. I think it’s clear where the main focus is when it comes down to pet care.
