I’m very pleased with the vet that took care of my Lucy. She was itching so bad running a fever. They prescribed her meds. Two days later and she is so much better. Thank you.

Jan 29, 2025 · Pamela BarbeeNot sure why I haven’t left a review yet. The complete staff are friendly and helpful. Been coming to this clinic for a few years. They’ve helped with my Weimaner, Hazel, until she crossed the rainbow bridge, when I got my Jack Russell puppy, Cora, and my Rescue, Titus. Today they helped with a family senior Pekingese, Sam. Dr. Pratt was so gentle and compassionate and did a complete work up for all our concerns. Very grateful to the techs and reception team as well. So glad to have them help with our furry companions!
Jan 07, 2025 · Crystal CasalsMy Australian shepherd 3y/0 had seen the same vet (a female) since he was 8 weeks old. Never a problem with exam or blood work until he saw a vet at this clinic. This lady took my dog away from me,and this dog has spent 24 hours a day with me!!! He screamed and howled the whole entire time!!! She brought him back to me and said “ did you hear that!! ??? That was him!! I was trying to exam his ears!!!!” My dog is traumatized to this day. Vet requires sedation to see this dog. He will overcome this abuse with time. Thanks Doc

Mar 29, 2025 · Billie LogiudiceIf you don't care to read the details, please stay away from this place if you love your pet!!! I've been taking my German Shepherd to Hutto Vet Clinic for the last 3 years for his regular checkups and vaccine shots. Mid February my dog suddenly started bumping into doors, walls, chairs, etc. which appeared as he was quickly losing his sight. We contacted Hutto Vet and explained the urgency of the situation, however, were were told that they are busy and soonest they can see us in 2 weeks which was useless at that point. After days of trying to find a place, we were able to take him to Cedar Park Clinic and even though they were also booked, they understood the urgency and told us to take him over right away. They confirmed the loss of vision, however, they recommend to see an Eye Specialist for further evaluation, which we did immediately. My dog was on antibiotics and steroids and after 2 weeks during the follow up with the Eye Specialist the retinas that were previously detached were fully re-attached, however, there was blood and we were given more medications to continue for another month. On April 22nd my dog suddenly was unable to walk and would just get up make a circle and lay down again. We've contacted all 24 hours emergency clinics in Austin and surrounding and were told that they are in high capacity. One of the clinics said to call on Monday morning to come and see a neurologist. We called Monday morning and were told that next available appointment to see a neurologist is in June and that we will need a referral from our primary vet. On April 24th I called Hutto Vet, our primary vet and explained the urgency of the situation and that we can't find anywhere to take him. The lady on the phone appeared as she cared and asked to send the video of his behaviour and promised to show the doctor after she was done with surgeries. We've not received any call, email from Hutto Vet and with a help of a neighbor were able to transport my dog to Heart Of Texas Clinic which also was booked but understood the urgency and made an exception. Unfortunately his condition got so bad that we had to make the hardest decision and put our baby to sleep. We was a healthy and happy 5 year old German Shepherd. Today is April 25th and Hutto Vet never cared to contact us. This place clearly doesn't care about animals. these people are not animal lovers to treat their patients this way. I strongly believe that if we had the immediate help from our primary vet when the issue just started we could have better chances to save my baby. Also all this started after the recent vaccine shots that Hutto Vet administered. This was not the first inhumane treatment by Hutto Vet. Several months ago my dog's ear was bitten and it was 15 min till closing. We live 1 block from Hutto Vet. I called and asked if they could just simply take a look visually and tell me if it's deep enough to go to Emergency or ok to care at home, but they refused to take a quick look while I was standing outside of their clinic because soon they had to close and go home and I didn't have an appointment. All I can say is shame on such vets that work at Hutto Vet that call themself animal lovers. You only worship the all mighty dollar and care less about saving animals.
