Based on the positive feedback from online reviews, this veterinary practice is recognized for its friendly staff, reasonable pricing, and dedication to the well-being of animals, even in challenging circumstances.

While the reviews do not offer extensive details about the physical environment of Huntington Pet Vet, the positive comments about the staff suggest a welcoming and friendly atmosphere. One reviewer specifically mentioned that the staff are "very friendly," which contributes significantly to a positive experience, especially when dealing with the stress of pet health concerns. The ability to secure appointments "very quickly" indicates an efficient and responsive approach to scheduling, which is crucial for timely veterinary care. Although visual descriptions of the clinic's interior are absent, the focus on positive interactions with the staff implies a comfortable and supportive environment for both pets and their owners.

The services offered at Huntington Pet Vet extend beyond basic check-ups and treatments. One reviewer explicitly mentioned that they "provide dental services and microchipping." Dental care is a vital aspect of a pet's overall health, and offering these services in-house adds significant convenience for pet owners. Microchipping is another essential preventative measure that greatly increases the chances of reuniting lost pets with their families. The positive experience of the reviewer who brought in a rescued outdoor feral cat indicates that Huntington Pet Vet is equipped to handle a variety of animals and their specific needs, demonstrating adaptability and a willingness to care for even less conventional patients. Furthermore, the detailed account of a dog named Cotton who has been hospitalized for nearly three years for an autoimmune disease highlights the clinic's capacity for long-term care and management of chronic conditions.

A significant aspect of the services at Huntington Pet Vet, as emphasized in the reviews, is the compassionate and dedicated care provided by the veterinary team. The reviewer whose dog, Cotton, has been hospitalized for an extended period specifically praised the kindness of the staff and the generosity and patience of Dr. Naido. This level of commitment to a patient over such a long duration speaks volumes about the clinic's dedication to animal welfare. Dr. Naido's accommodation with pricing in such a long-term case further underscores the clinic's understanding and compassionate approach to the financial burdens of prolonged veterinary care. The reviewer's statement that Dr. Naido has been "helping him step by step and everyday he gets better" illustrates the thorough and ongoing care provided to patients with complex medical needs.

The features of Huntington Pet Vet appear to be centered around its patient-focused approach, affordability, and the range of essential services offered. The "very reasonable" charges mentioned by one reviewer on two separate visits suggest a commitment to providing quality care at accessible prices, which is a significant benefit for pet owners. The inclusion of dental services and microchipping as standard offerings enhances the clinic's value as a comprehensive care provider for routine and preventative needs. The willingness and ability to care for a rescued feral cat demonstrate a broad range of expertise and a compassionate approach to all animals, regardless of their background or temperament.

The standout feature, however, seems to be the exceptional long-term care provided, as evidenced by the case of Cotton. The dedication, patience, and generosity shown by Dr. Naido and the staff in managing a chronic autoimmune disease over three years indicate a level of commitment that goes above and beyond standard veterinary care. This suggests that Huntington Pet Vet is not just equipped to handle routine cases but also has the capacity and compassion for complex and extended medical management.

I have had a dog named Cotton in the hospital for almost 3 years now for an autoimmune disease. The staff have been so kind and Dr. Naido has been so generous and patient with him. She was especially accommodating with the pricing for how long he's been in. It's been so tough but she has been helping him step by step and everyday he gets better. Please show some appreciation for this hospital.

Dr NAITO and her staff were absolutely phenomenal in helping one of my most recent rescue dogs "Sunday", the little American Bully who appears to have been shot in the head. Dr NAITO is so kind and caring and she was really the only chance I had to get treatment for this little rescue dog, who was found after midnight on the streets of Compton. Dr NAITO cares about the animals, not building her wealth at the expense of the animals and the people who love them. I run a 501c3 non-profit dog rescue and we need more vets like this.
