I'm honestly in shock. A nice facility that has incredibly knowledge techs and vets and they honestly care about my lizard and snake. They knew everything to look for and they also made sure my husbandry was correct. They definitely gave the impression that my pets were #1 priority even though they aren't the traditional cute dog (I'm used to people thinking that a lizard can't be a pet). And the second shock was when they gave me the total and it was like $150 less than I was expecting. She said the number and I had to double check the screen. I honestly might switch my dogs to this vet too because they're so amazing. Like #1 Vet Goals. 100/10 would recommend.

Environment Designed for Comfort and Care

The environment at Hopkinton Animal Hospital is consistently described as a "nice facility" that is "state-of-the-art" and "beautifully appointed." This indicates a modern, clean, and well-maintained clinical space. Beyond the aesthetics, the hospital is clearly designed with patient comfort in mind. The fact that they are a Fear Free certified practice is a significant environmental feature; it means the staff is trained to reduce fear, anxiety, and stress for pets during visits, utilizing techniques and creating spaces that promote a calmer experience. Furthermore, their status as a Gold-level Cat Friendly Practice highlights specific adaptations for feline patients, likely including separate waiting areas, specialized exam rooms, and handling techniques designed to minimize stress for cats. The anecdote of Barnaby the bunny having his "exam room ready with his name on the door" even before arrival, and being "handled lovingly" by staff, underscores a personalized and thoughtful approach to the clinic environment. This focus on individual patient needs contributes to an atmosphere where even anxious pets can feel comfortable and even eager to enter the clinic.

The staff at Hopkinton Animal Hospital truly care about your furry family. We arrived about 15 minutes early for our appointment and they already had Barnaby’s exam room ready with his name on the door. He was handled lovingly by the techs and vet, who even gave him a treat when it was all over. This visit was just a wellness exam, but last year I truly believe that Dr. Richard helped save Barnaby’s life with her quick diagnosis and medicinal regimen. I fully trust them with my bunny’s care.

Hopkinton Animal Hospital is the best. The staff are amazing, so helpful and friendly. Nigel and Jingles love going to get their nails and beak trimmed.

I brought four of my Conures here and had a great experience each time. The staff is incredibly knowledgeable about parrots and handled my birds with care and respect. I really appreciated the private waiting room with no stress from cats or dogs, and scheduling was easy even on short notice. This is the only place in New Hampshire I fully trust with my birds.

Really great place for avian. We feel grateful to have transferred our older African grey here who has been struggling with plucking for a year with unknown cause. They were kind, compassionate, and thorough. Now we have transferred our dogs in too. Them labeling each door with the pet coming in is also a really cute touch and I love the chameleon in the hallway. Overall just well done and prices are much worse elsewhere. Our family feels well taken care of.
