Hometown Veterinary Care in Byron Center

Without going into too much detail, my husband and I experienced a very traumatic situation with our two dogs recently. Hometown Veterinary Care, specifically Veterinarian Nikkie Shear, and a tech named Patty were both extremely understanding, empathetic and professional. They both gave amazing advice to help us with our situation and took great care of our dog Nova (pictured). Thank you so much to the whole team! If I could rate higher than five stars, I would 😌☺️

The staff is very friendly efficient and helpful. Dr. Green is amazing. She’s a great listener, has sound advice, is professional yet very friendly and open to discussion. She allows you to make the decisions regarding your pet after offering her expert advise. She has pets of her own and cares for ours like she’s a part of the family. Their prices are reasonable and they don’t push extras to hike up your bill. I highly recommend Hometown!

The staff that's been there for awhile is amazing, the new staff seems like they are not as friendly, and welcoming, but maybe that'll change with time. Overall a good experience almost everytime I stop in to refill my dogs medicine!

This place has been taking care of my 2 pups for at least 10 years & I love them. What really sealed the deal was after they treated my now 14 year old pup for cancer. While the vet I'd originally seen left I've been happy with the others I've seen (only 1 was a little skittish around my pit mix who has never been a problem). The techs are all super warm, caring & have loads of empathy. And they've given me options, when possible, due to my financial situation. Prices have gone up as with everything but they're reasonable & exceptional at their job.

They are by far the best Vet office I have been too. They care about your pet, are very easy to work with, and super helpful. I could not be more impressed by them.
