Amazing! I have been going here for my Bunny and they are incredible. They are super knowledgeable, they treat your pet like it’s their pet, and everyone I’ve met in the office so far are extremely nice and help make the visit go smoothly including even finding a quiet waiting area where I could wait with my rabbit away from from dogs and cats if the space is available without even being asked. I would not have expected anything like that but it shows how caring and knowledgeable they all are that if it’s possible/available and think it’s best for the pets they are working with, they are already on it. Like I cannot begin explain how impressed I am with the Dr.’s and the staff here. They would be able to say if they are best suited for your animal but I could not recommend them enough for bunnies/rabbits. Specifically I have been working with Dr. Caglianone and again he is amazing and everyone else I have come into contact with there has blown me away. I am so happy that I found them for me and my bun.

My 7 year old cat Godiva had her teeth cleaned by Dr. Duree last week. All went well & Godiva needed no extractions. After three years of consulting with Dr. Duree, I trust her as she seems to care for my pets as if they were her own. I appreciate the use of anesthesia with dental cleaning as it allows a thorough examination of teeth, gums & tongue. Although it is expensive, this is my investment in the long term health of my companions. I have observed that the staff & vet techs at Homestead are very skilled at handling my cats & dog. My elderly Papillion can be very nervous when getting her nails trimmed yet the technicians are able to work with her. My cats seem to melt into the arms of calm assistants. I am so grateful.

If I could give Homestead Animal Hospital (HAH) every star in the sky, I would. My bearded dragon, Diego, isn’t just a pet—he’s my best friend, my family, and the reason I’m still here today. We’ve been through everything together, from surviving brutal winters in a tent to pulling through the darkest times of my life. When Diego fell ill, I was heartbroken. I took him to several other vet clinics, but they charged outrageous fees and showed minimal effort. It felt like they saw dollar signs instead of a precious life. Then, by what I can only call a miracle, I found HAH. From the moment we walked in, I felt the warmth and compassion that sets this clinic apart. Dr. James Caglianone (Dr. C) didn’t just see Diego as “just another exotic pet”—he saw him as a cherished soul worth fighting for. Dr. C did what no other vet would even attempt. He approached Diego’s care with genuine compassion, looking beyond costs and focusing on what truly mattered: saving a life. His expertise and empathy are unmatched. Dr. C’s approach wasn’t just about treating Diego’s physical ailments but also offering emotional support to me. He recognized the deep bond between us and validated my love for Diego. His willingness to go above and beyond gave me hope when I had almost lost it. In a world where genuine care is rare, Dr. C was a beacon of light. I can’t believe some of the negative reviews I’ve seen for HAH. Our experience was nothing but exceptional. Every staff member we encountered treated us with kindness and respect. While no clinic or vet is perfect—because, yes, humans make mistakes—I believe it’s unfair to judge an entire practice based on one experience. Dr. C is a rare and precious asset to HAH. He has the potential to transform this clinic into one of the best in the world, and he deserves every accolade for his incredible work. If you’re reading this and hesitating because of negative reviews, please consider our story. Diego’s life was saved because of Dr. C’s skill, compassion, and willingness to do what no one else would. When other vets turned us away, he stepped up and did what needed to be done. He saw Diego as a life worth saving, and that is the kind of care you can expect at HAH. I am forever grateful to them for giving me more time with my beloved Diego. I would like to start out by saying I am a veterinary technician and I work at an emergency animal hospital. I was worried about finding an amazing doctor for my girls primary vet. That worry faded when we started seeing Dr. Ravji. She has been a wonderful vet for my girls. Recently, one of my dogs was diagnosed with a cancerous mass on her elbow. My dog can be a bit difficult as she’s kind of a butthead. The staff did great with her and she really took to Dr. Ravji as well. Dr. Ravji surgically removed the mass and my dog did wonderful post-op! As someone who is in the veterinary field, I can’t recommend Dr. Ravji enough!
