Hillside Animal Hospital

My two standard poodles and a poodle mix have been patients of Dr. Rosonke since he opened the practice many years ago. My puppers are my 'babies' and all of my experiences with Dr. Brad and his staff have been exceptional.

Hillside is the best for dogs. They are thoughtful, caring, and on top of things. We have two dogs and our pug recently had a near death allergic reaction. They saw him quickly and reacted appropriately saving his life. They have also been helpful with our Boston Terrier's vision issues (as seen in photo). Thank you Hillside!

While being groomed, a quarter size scab was discovered on my 17 year old Golden Retriever, Red, next to his anus. The rinse water broke up the scab and it was evident it was more serious than a scab covering some object or bite that could have caused the problem. Our groomer extraordinaire, Amanda, could not get the bleeding to stop from the scab falling apart. Amanda loaded Red into her car and took him to Hillside Animal Hospital 1/2 mile from my home. I called Hillside to let them know Amanda was coming. From my first appointment with Hillside in 2003, I recognized their exceptional staff. Their professionalism was evident in the genuine care they expressed for my dog and me! My previous Vet retired after he had served me and my dog’s for 26 year's, exceptionally well. My dogs are my fur babies and I want the best for them. I was very fortunate to find Dr Rosenke at Hillside Animal Hospital and wouldn’t consider going anywhere else. Their practice has grown over the years and two veterinarian's have been added, Dr Council and Dr Kate. Their skills, added to the staff continues the exceptional care Hillside provides. Dr Kate immediately took Red into surgery and removed the benign tumor that was causing his problem. Red hates the “cone” he has to wear so he doesn’t disturb his stitches but, we’re pleased this emergency is behind us.

I found this office by accident which turned out to be fate. I feel so safe here so cared for. I know that Clyde is in the very best hands by people who adore him. They were so welcoming for a new pet patient. The vet is phenomenal and explains everything thoroughly and goes the extra mile. She is very hands on, cares very much, so much so my dog is excited to go to the vet :) The facility is exceptional. The location is perfect. It’s been just an all around beautiful experience in a stressful situation. This is truly the best office and we are very grateful to have found them.

Dr. Rosonke found his calling in life working with animals. He deserves a 10 star review. I’ve had cats and dogs all my life and he is the best vet I’ve had the pleasure working with. I tried 7 different vets trying to figure out what was wrong with my 3 year old kitty and he figured it out and saved her life and saved us a fortune in one visit. I could write an essay on how good he is with animals and how amazing the staff is but I want to keep this short and sweet and hopefully help someone who needs insight on this clinic. I consider myself lucky to have my dogs and cats under their care. They are truly outstanding!
