I took my 2 cats here 3 weeks ago, one was just for an annual (which was $300 btw) and my other for a bump on her neck and issues with her bladder. The annual for my 1 cat was fine and normal thankfully, other than the inflated price. But my other one they were way more concerned about her bladder, which is very important and ive been treating for almost 3 weeks with their recommendations, which has not been helping. I was very concerned about the bump on her neck, i really thought it may be cancerous. They were not at all concerned about it and barely discussed it other than being quoted $1,200 for surgery, and i got another $600 quote for a dental cleaning, which I didn't ask for. I was still very concerned about the bump so I went back to her normal vet and it was literally A HUGE BLACK HEAD! They popped it right out and she was fine, and they gave me a different medication for her bladder to actually treat the cause, which is ANXIETY, which a month supply was only $12! Moral of the story don't cheat on your vet, Poplar Animal Hospital has been my go to for 4 year now, and they treated my old man's calicivirus successfully and they have single handedly extended his life expectancy. I will not be back. I gave 2 stars because they were very nice and friendly, and treated my cats with kindness.

Mar 06, 2025 · Adrianna WilsonWe've been taking our furbabies here for probably 10 years now, and will never go anywhere else. Dr. Condon and the staff are extremely caring, warm, and helpful. Our dog is actually excited to go to the vet because he thinks of everyone here as his newest set of best friends. This is a top notch practice that I would highly recommend to anyone in need of a kind and knowledgeable veterinarian. Thanks Dr. Condon and staff!
Dec 12, 2024 · Jamie HI adopted a cat with a limb deformity, and we were looking for a good vet to go to that we could trust. They really care here, you can tell.I’ve been to vets that do not care in the past, and typically it’s evident right off of the bat. Everyone is very warm and welcoming, and they’ve been so informative and respectful through his initial exams to his leg amputation. They called the morning after surgery to check on him and are an amazing resource for any questions you may have. I cannot rate highlands high enough, Dr. Rice is the most genuine person that truly cares about the well-being of your pet, or in my case fin. :) This will be our vet for as long as we live here. Thank you guys so much for everything !
Aug 29, 2023 · Jenna HeidmannWe always have a great experience at Highlands Pet Hospital. Dr. C and staff are very helpful and knowledgeable.
Nov 02, 2024 · dana bessetteWe recently switched to this vet not only because of the pricing at the other vet but also the general feeling we got from the vets. We've been pleasantly surprised at how much time and attention they give our babies at HPH. Everyone has been helpful and genuinely concerned for the wellbeing of our pets. Appointments happen in a timely manner with very little time in the waiting room. If you're on the fence, give them a try!
