Highland Animal Hospital

I absolutely love Dr. White and so do my kitties! Dr. White is caring, compassionate and honest. She has been my fur babies doctor for a few years now. I recently moved and still drive to Highland even though there are clinics all around me. I will not take them anywhere else. Visits with her are like seeing a friend and she treats my babies like they are her own. I highly recommend them!

I wish I could rate Highland 100 stars. Dr. White is so caring and gentle. My pup had heart-worms and she did an amazing job of explaining it to me in laymen’s terms and putting my worries at ease. The technicians are wonderful and always go above and beyond. I had an especially great visit with Danniele (i think that’s her name) today. She really took a lot of time to let my anxious dog calm down and trust her. There is another staff member who came from the front desk to ask how my dogs have been. I’m so grateful for highland!

Dr. White is our favorite!! Our sweet boy Oliver hates going to the vet but as soon as he sees her he’s over the moon! Thank you Highland for being so good to my baby. Pic for reference of the bestest boy!

Highland is amazing, I have 3 three dogs and Dr. White and her staff treats each of them as if they were theirs. I love the way she get on their level and talk to them, calming them. Earlier this year my oldest baby had to be put down and she was there every step of the way helping me through. I love how they go above and beyond for my babies. Customer service is FABULOUS... Thanks Highland Animal Hospital for all that YOU do for our fur babies and their humans!!!

We were in desperate need of boarding for our 3 dogs because our family is going out of town. Unfortunately. Highland requires that you bring your dogs for a "first-time vet visit" BEFORE they are allowed to board with Highland. My dogs are up to date on their vaccinations and are not ill, but the only reason they were going to board HERE was because our vet does not offer that service. Although one of our dogs was seen as recently as this past weekend for a vet visit, Highland did not even offer to just transfer their vet records - the scam is that you have to be seen by HIGHLAND for a vet appointment before you can be approved for boarding. We had an 8:30 am appointment for 1 dog, 9 am appointment for the second dog, and 9:30 am for the third dog to be seen. We did not agree with the scam, but we wanted to make sure our pets were well taken care of while we are gone this weekend, and Highland sounded friendly enough over the phone. Unfortunately, our car broke down this morning and we were in a panic with three dogs in the car trying to figure out what the issue was and still make it to the appointment on time. We were able to get our car moving again and still rushed over, but we arrived at 9 am. Although NO ONE was in the lobby aside from us and our 3 dogs, the front desk staff told us that they "would now have to check and see if we could still be seen by the doctor because we were late." We watched and waited for the receptionist while the other staff members at the desk played with a cat. No one else paid us any mind, and no one else was in the lobby, so we thought we were okay - especially because we didn't mind rescheduling the dog that had the 8:30 if that was a problem, but we still had 9 and 9:30 appointment times for the other 2 so we thought we were okay. Because they were so busy playing with the cat at the front desk and had no other animals in the lobby waiting besides ours, the receptionist returned and stated we could not be seen due to our tardiness and would have to reschedule ALL 3 DOGS for their scam of a first time vet visit in order to board. We are normally seen by a different vet, so we really didn't need the appointment, we just needed boarding as stated previously. No one bothered to ask why we were late, no one showed any empathy and tried to take at least the other 2 dogs who were still on time for their scheduled appointments - we were refused service and their only offer was to reschedule all 3 dogs for a different visit. After the hell we went through this morning trying to make it with our car breaking down (no one showed any empathy about that either, "why were you late?"), we decided NOT to board with Highland Animal Hospital because of the poor customer service and refusal to see ANY dog just because we missed 1 of the 3 time slots they booked for us. Thanks Highland. You lost our business due to your lack of empathy and professionalism. Wouldn't bring my pets back here if you were the last and only vet in town.

Angel is my dogs name . I was taking him to pet smart once a month for nail cutting. Each time I took him he became more and more nervous and got to where he didn't want to go there anymore. I was going to highland animal hospital for shots and what ever else he needed, so I decided to take him there to get his nails done. They knew just what to do to make him comfortable. When he came from the back after getting his nails cut he was completely relaxed not crying or shaking. The people at highland are awesome. Every animal that came in were excited to see them. Now my little guy will have a place to go and not be afraid. Thanks everyone at highland. We greatly appreciate each and every one of you.

My dog needed emergency surgery and Highland Hospital fit her in and saved our fur baby. I called many places who wanted us to wait 2 weeks or more to fit her in and thank God Dr Iverson and Highland hospital got her in promptly. I have no doubt they saved my dog’s life and gave me many more years with her. She was provided exceptional care and i must name Stephanie who I know first hand took exceptional care of my Roxy. I will be forever grateful for anyone who had a hand in her recovery and I know there were more than Stephanie and Dr Iverson. She was cleaned and nails trimmed and was back to herself when we picked her up. I cannot say enough about this place!! Just want to say my Roxy is better than ever!!!! They saved her life and I am Forever grateful!
