We have 2 great danes, Apollo (5 years old) and Thor (just turned 2). Hernando Animal Clinic has taken care of them since we moved here 4 years ago. They are compassionate, know what they are doing and always make sure we have everything we need. After surgeries they will call the next day to make sure everything is good and answer any questions. Couldn't ask for a better vet clinic. Staff and the vets are all great. Love this place.

They were so caring and wonderful. The best feeling I've ever had with a vet office ever. I had lost my Doberman jax to a car accident and wanted him cremated. I was so heart broken, and they showed loved and care for us both. They are the best ever and I will go back with my other animals.

We followed Dr. Dorris when she went full time at Hernando Animal Clinic and I honestly could not be happier. Our experience was top notch. The waiting room wasn't full of animals, every person and pet were checked in and put in a room quickly. We were seen promptly and when we were done we were able to pay in the room and exit out the side door. It is exactly what my anxious boy dog needs. We LOVE Dr. Dorris!!!!!!!! The staff was also fabulous.

I took my dog ​​last Monday, she had a wound on her side, like a small hole, but I didn’t know how it got there, they took the dog in to be “checked out” and told me that in order to determine what it was they would need to do several procedures, they gave me a quote of a little over $800 which included sedating her to clean the wound, x-rays and inserting a probe, for the “check-up” they charged me $75. I decided to take her to another vet where they checked her out properly, cleaned her, determined it was a bite, and even gave her her vaccines for $130. Today, Thursday, my dog ​​is fine.
