Mar 23, 2025 · Conner Guldenschuh (The_Schuhs)West Winfield Vet Associates is hands down the friendliest most professional clinic I’ve been to in years.. we first came to WW vet in august when my pup Hercules fell really sick.. We were previously at Waterville vet before and they made us run around for three months misdiagnosing my poor sick boy.. he went from 98lbs to 46lbs in a span of 3 months.. Waterville was micro dosing my Hercules for months… they aren’t cheap either and I understand that it’s expensive to have animals, but when a vet is making you do loops running around random tests micro dosing and not explaining anything to the owners you get frustrated. I told Waterville I would be getting a second opinion because nothing they were doing was working.. not to mention every visit I had I was maybe there for twenty minutes max, they NEVER would take the time to talk to Me and help me understand what was going on with my dog. watching my dog deteriorate slowly made it so much worse. As a dog mom I thought I had failed my boy.. My first time at West Winfield I’ll never forget. I brought all my paperwork from Waterville and Dr. Greene was assigned to our Hercules. There was a lot of paperwork from Waterville.. Dr. Greene one word for that women.. compassionate. Dr. Greene saw how distraught I was over all of this and our first appointment we were there for two hours.. she sat down and talked to me like an actual human being. Someone was finally listening to me. I was being heard and how I felt about his last treatments at Waterville. Dr. Greene saved my Hercules and I will forever be so so grateful for her and the staff at west Winfield, after his diagnosis Dr. Greene referred us to Latham Internal Specialists to see Dr. Arnold and off we went. Hercules was diagnosed with a Protein losing enteropathy.. he’s doing amazing since being on the meds & He’s up to 55 lbs and we can’t wait to see Dr. Greene again! We love you Dr. Greene!!!!
Dec 19, 2022 · Kirsten CoonWe wholeheartedly trust the care of the Herkimer Veterinary Associates. We have three dogs and two of them have health issues. Our eldest dog was diagnosed with diabetes in November of 2020. We feared her end would be soon. After the thoughtful care of Dr. Armstrong, Zoey continues to thrive today at the age of 13. She needs shots twice a day but you wouldn't know she has health issue as she thoroughly enjoys her life. Our sweet Emma has had teeth extractions and since her surgery many year's ago now enjoys her food and has gained weight. She, too, enjoys her life after being taken care of by the doctors and staff from the Herkimer Veterinary Associates.
Aug 09, 2024 · Shawn MaxsonI do not recommend these veterinarians. I had one slow payment, which ended up being paid in full. In three payments. The vet had said I didn’t have to pay her right away because she had testing to finish and didn’t know the cost of the visit. I have also taken four of my small animals to them and each visit was paid in full. Today my horse hurt her eye and when I called them, they refused to come see her because they suddenly “contracted” their service areas. Further investigation revealed they were punishing me for my slow payment. They had sent me no notice and no warning of their intentions to abandon my horses care. I find out that their office manager, Chris and their veterinarian Dr. Green had put this in my file and never let me know this until I needed help for my horse, Jazzmine. Beware of these people who care more about their money than their clients animals. It’s become a corporate uncaring business more concerned about profit than the people and animals they are supposed to serve.
Aug 08, 2024 · Jacqueline MarshThe staff are friendly and knowledgeable. I think they are the best around. The prices are expensive but what isn't! They are worth it. They are great with my fur baby Max.
