Love the doctors and staff at Heights & Hill! They are so patient and gentle with my cat who acts like a complete demon at the vet (I’m really sorry for his behavior). They treat us like family and know who we are the minute we walk through the door. While my cat doesn’t feel the same, I am so grateful to have Heights & Hill as our vet. You can tell these guys truly love and care for animals.

Disappointing Experience During a Critical Time; During one of the most challenging moments a pet owner can face, the support and empathy of a veterinary practice are crucial. Unfortunately, my experience with Heights & Hill Veterinary fell far short of these expectations when we needed them most. Our beloved dog, Gobi, was suspected of having lymphoma during a visit to their facility. His condition declined rapidly over just four days, a bewildering and heart-wrenching development for any pet owner. During this critical time, the response from Heights & Hill was sorely lacking. Despite understanding the constraints of a small practice, I was dismayed by the lack of compassion from the staff and the unavailability of the doctors. At a time when professional guidance was desperately needed, the inability to secure even a brief phone consultation added to our distress. The reception staff’s apparent lack of empathy only exacerbated our frustration and sorrow. While I did receive an email from Andrew, which I appreciated, it contained no concrete follow-up information or any indication of when they might be able to see us again. Tragically, by the time we might have received further assistance, Gobi had already passed away. This experience has left me deeply disappointed in Heights & Hill Veterinary. When pet owners entrust the health of their beloved animals to a practice, they expect a level of care and empathy that was not met in our case. It is my hope that this feedback prompts a reassessment of how urgent cases are handled so that no other pet or owner has to endure what we did.

We’ve been bringing our dog to Heights and Hills for a few years. The Drs. and techs are wonderful. They really get to know your pet and help them get the care they need. We often receive follow up emails / calls with the vets checking in on Lana after her visits. I would highly recommend pet parents to make this your primary vet.

We have been going to this vet for about 2 1/2 years now. I appreciate the proximity to our house and the responsiveness of appointments. While I’m new to the vet as this is the first pet I had as an adult, I am always confused as to why they can’t take emergency appointments or talk to you about issues over the phone. They refer me to an emergency vet hospital. Perhaps this is totally normal. My dog gets his nails trimmed every eight weeks and it’s affordable and they’re very nice and lovely people.

If you're a pet owner in Brooklyn Heights, Cobble Hill, or any of the surrounding areas, THIS should be your veterinary practice. The entire staff is absolutely incredible, from front desk to the vet techs to the doctors. As an anxious pet parent with a rescue dog currently going through heartworm treatment, Dr. Cai and the rest of her team (Andrew, Sierra, etc.) have been actual lifesavers—treating my dog with the highest standard of care, answering a million different calls and questions, and being nothing but patient, kind, and understanding as we navigate this long treatment and recovery process. Still thanking my lucky stars that a random passerby just happened to recommend Heights & Hill to me a little over 2 years ago!
