A very good & capable staff. Dr. Burgess is an excellent veterinarian and will call personally after visits to ensure all is well. The facility is outstanding. No sitting in a large room with other dogs waiting to see the doctor. You are immediately seated in a private room. They are very well organized. We have been a client with our last two dogs for the last fifteen years and are very satisfied. I highly recommend Healthy Paws Animal Hospital.

First I want to thank Healthy Paws for everything. This hospital is the embodiment of personal veterinary medicine. We truly are and will be forever grateful for you all. The first memory I have of Healthy Paws was when Dr. Burgess called me on a Tuesday night to go over the pups charts. That after hours call confirmed something inside of me. It confirmed that we found the right place for our pups. We found Healthy Paws at just the right time when our puppy, Xochitl, was very sick. We did not know veterinary medicine had specialities until Dr. Burgess recommended VSC to us. Dr. Burgess and every single one of the staff went above and beyond for our girl. As well as the rest of our of ten pups. (Yes ten!) Not only have they all gone above and beyond for our pups, but for my family as well. I honestly do not know how we would have handled my surgeries and vet appointments without Healthy Paws. They helped me from my truck to inside numerous times (curbside service). The amount of gratitude I have for those moments, there will never be enough thank you’s. Healthy Paws gave my family peace of mind and a sense of community. We truly appreciate all of you. From the front desk staff, to the techs, to the assistants, Jean, John, and the doctors. With an overwhelming feeling of gratitude, thank you. Highly recommend this hospital!

Years ago this place was ok but as others have said, collecting money is their only objective. I found this out when they charged me $70 for wipes I found on the jungle website for $12. Same exact thing. You can also tell when the techs are summing everything up, it's all about money. Before they do anything to your animal they have a total for you to agree to and they seem shy to even show you because Im sure they know you're getting ripped off to some degree. I know you have to make money running a business, but marking up something 500% is just a big middle finger to your client. At least offer the option to not be ripped off. Not everyone lives in Lakewood ya know? My guess is the doc has a large boat payment to keep up with so we moved on.

Amazing staff and they got my dog in immediately as a new client. The Dr was very thorough and the entire staff was on top of everything & detail oriented. I highly recommend. I actually am switching my dog to this vet because I was so happy with everything and everyone.

Dr. Burgess and staff are ALWAYS warm and welcoming! The staff is simply amazing. 10/10 - each and every visit. Communication is fantastic. I wouldn’t trust my pups anywhere else.
