Great Vet with my mastiff my previous vet refused to talk about my dog possibly having allergies. First visit here and my dogs allergies are being treated and he's responded well to his treatment. Being the power guard breed my dog is the staff has a very healthy respect for him and is great in not showing any unease when treating him. If you have an Xl breed dog I highly recommend going here they show they care about the big scary dogs as much as the cute little dogs

Apr 27, 2025 · julie HackettTruly can't say enough good things about Dr. Carissa. We have taken two of our kitty pals to her in the last few months, and she is so attentive, caring, and thorough. You can tell she definitely has a passion and genuine care for the animal friends she encounters. I'm so happy our small communities here in the SW metro area have this resource available. Prices are also incredibly reasonable. We have been to several vets in the area for care over the last several years, and found the rates to be very competitive! Our interactions with the front office staff and vet techs have also been stellar. Truly, a great experience. You will not be disappointed bringing your pets here and entrusting the care of Dr. Carissa.
Aug 28, 2024 · Zac HuntleyWe LOVE Dr Carissa and all the staff at Healing Hands. They do a very thorough job on their exams and are so gentle and kind with our dog. Highly recommend Healing Hands! So happy we found them :)
Nov 23, 2024 · Leah MooreDr. Darryl L Brown has been an excellent Vet for my dogs. He has taken care of 3 of them. 2 of them are no longer with me. It was very hard putting Queen Diamond down. She was 13 year old Cocker Spaniel who was having seizures. He talked me through euthanizing her and explained the pro and cons. My second dog was Mr. Bentley Foxworth. He was a beautiful party color Pomerania. After 13 years of life he died from kidney failure. Once again Dr. Brown talked to the attending Vet and they made decisions on what steps were best for him. Even though we were not in Georgia he was available. He was laid to rest the day before Mother’s Day! I still have a very active dog that is 12 years old. His name is Jack Daniel and he was a rescue. Dr. Brown continued to do an excellent job taking of him. I recommend him highly. Thank you for your support Dr. Brown , you always there for me.
Sep 21, 2022 · Cathy ThrasherDr. Carissa helped us transition our beloved fur baby this week. She was so kind and compassionate. Her presence was so peaceful and calming for all of us. She was patient explaining all the steps and answering many questions from our 7yr old daughter. She helped us feel comfortable with the hard decision we were making by affirming the treatments and recommendations our vet had made over the last few weeks. I highly recommend her for this very difficult situation that we pet owners may all face.
