Dr. Hill is very professional and has a calm demeanor, which I appreciate for my cats visits. The staff is always very helpful and understanding which is always appreciated. Truly the most affordable and best pet care veterinarian office in the neighborhood. They'd recently went through reconstruction on their building, but worked through it. That's dedication.

Mar 07, 2025 · lindtwhiteWe have used the clinic for 13 years. They have taken good care of our pups over the years but especially with our Cooper and his last visit today with them. We had to put Cooper down due to a stroke over the weekend. They showed such compassion and gave us firm guidance in how to proceed with Cooper. They took their time with us and gave us as much time as we needed to confirm decisions. Great doctors and staff.
Nov 13, 2024 · Jason MerrittI had a great experience at Gwinnett Animal Clinic as a new patient. While I can't speak to how easy it is to get a last-minute emergency appointment, I found the team incredibly accommodating for a routine exam and vaccinations. I was able to schedule an appointment on a day I had off from work, even though it was Valentine's Day, by calling a week in advance. When you visit, be aware that the door handle blends in at the top of the door. I was initially confused and had two anxious dogs in foldable carriers. The receptionist mentioned they had requested a sign, but it was not approved. However, when I was leaving, another staff member helped me with the door and explained that the handle design prevents animals from pushing the door open. Once inside, I waited less than five minutes to be taken to a room. The staff were kind, answered all my questions, and were very understanding when they had to bring one of my rescue dogs back to me to place a muzzle on her. Both of my dogs have difficult pasts, and the staff handled them with great care and dignity. I did have one complaint about the cost. I was quoted $200 per dog for the visit, but the total ended up being $474. One of the vaccines requires a booster in 3-4 weeks, which will cost an additional $50. I will also need to purchase heartworm, tick, and flea medication when I return for that. Right now I was given a one-month supply to test out on my dogs. When I saw the bill, each pill cost $8 even though they were referred to as samples by the staff. Despite this, I plan to return for the Senior Dog Blood Panel, which is recommended for dogs over seven years old. This test can identify potential issues early on. Overall, my visit was informative, and the staff were kind and patient. They handled my anxious and aggressive dogs with care. I would recommend Gwinnett Animal Clinic to anyone.
Feb 17, 2025 · carolyn ScottTook my dog here back in the summer time because his ears were bothering him. They took him to a back room where I couldn’t see anything, where they said they found yeast in his ears. They mentioned doing an earscopy, cleaning out both ears really well & applying the “best” medication that will cure him. Fast forward to November, my dog is still having major issues with both ears. In between time, I did follow up with them & mentioned this & they recommended coming in again, paying full price for yet another visit just so they can look again at his ears and see why the medicine didn’t work the first time. My other option was to buy medication ear drops from them, which was supposedly an alternative medicine to help “heal him.” I used the medication as directed and my dog is still crying every time he scratches his ear. I feel so bad for my dog & feel like we were left with no real help. Of course when you spend hundreds of dollars for something, you expect it to work but not in our case. I also don’t appreciate that I’m being told we have to pay for a full visit and everything in full price all over again when it should’ve been less for a follow-up, especially since the “process” that they said they did never actually helped. I don’t feel comfortable going back here now for a third time, so now we’re stuck trying to find another vet and there aren’t many with good reviews in the area.
Nov 16, 2024 · Akira CookeWe have used Dr Wallis and Dr Cook for the last 17 years to care for my sweet Chihuahua Ms Phoebe. We have used the clinic for almost forty years. We drive an hour each way to bring our girl there. As she nears the end of her time here on this earth, I could not ask for anyone to be any kinder to her .
