I had an amazing experience at GCVS! I took my dog, Gino, to the emergency room, and the care he received was outstanding. The team kept me updated every step of the way, and he’s now recovering ❤️ Everyone was incredibly skilled, compassionate, and professional. They made me feel completely at ease throughout the entire process. I couldn’t be more grateful!

Very knowledgeable and caring neurology department. My dachshund was seen for a back injury, and I was extremely nervous about the outcome of the appointment. Fortunately, I was not pressured to spend a ton of money on additional testing and given a doable treatment plan.

Dr.Shelby Scanlin she is the bomb!! We went to a couple of vets before I went to them at Gulf Coast. I was very pleased with the doctor. She was honest about everything about our baby Rico. He wasn’t doing good. He was not able to really walk. He was stumbling having problems and she figured it out and gave him steroids and now my dog is doing much much better. She actually save our babies life. I’m so pleased with her. We still have a long way to go, but he’s doing a lot better running around being active just being his plain self thank you so much.. Gulf Coast Veterinarian specialist and all your team are wonderful. I recommend this place anytime of the day or night. They will help your baby out the way they help mine. I was really stressed about my dog's procedure given that she had other medical complications. Dr. Kerr and staff kept me informed and talked me through every step of the process patiently and throughly. I've been through 3 ACL surgeries prior to this and I can confidently say that her incision looks phenomenal only 2 days post-opp and is a much cleaner incision overall. I'm very optimistic about recovery and happy to report my fur baby is healing nicely. Thank you Dr. Kerr and the GCVS crew that helped keep Emi safe through this process!

I am blown away by the compassion and quality of care my pet received. She has been going to a different vet for months due to bladder stones and I was constantly bringing her to an emergency vet located close by. They recommended Gulf Coast and I can not be more appreciative for all of the staff. I had an appointment scheduled, but had to bring her in the night before due to an emergency. I do not remember the emergency doctor's name who saw her, but I've never felt so at ease leaving one of my sick piggies for treatment. I was relieved knowing she was in good hands, although a scary situation. The next day she saw Dr magnotti, and I spoke with her over the phone regarding my baby. Never in my life have I had a vet listen to what I said to the level of which she did. I'm honestly blown away, she is truly a special veterinarian. She answered ALL of my questions and focused on my piggies quality of life ( which is what I've been asking other vets to do). I can't express my gratitude to her, she is full of knowledge and we came up with a plan prioritizing my piggies life. I really recommend anyone with an exotic pet to use Gulf Coast, they are not cheap, but the amount of money i spent looking for answers is way more than what Dr magnotti discovered in one appointment. I will be returning with all of my exotic pets in the future, and again I can not thank Gulf Coast enough. They are truly a breath of fresh air in the exotic veterinary community 💞
