Amazing Vet Clinic, this is the only place my furbabies go. No wonder why they’ve been in business for so many years, great hard working and caring staff who do not receive enough praise. The reviews lower than 4 stars don’t give them justice, and most of them seem to point blame at the clinic yet not take responsibility for their pet’s temperament, seen it with many vet clinics, where owners do not take into account the amount of work needed to get their furbaby to be still for a vaccination, checkup, etc.

Based on the available customer reviews, we can gain some insight into the environment, services, features, and the overall experience at Green River Veterinary Hospital. It's important to consider all feedback to form an objective understanding.

Environment:

One customer describes it as an "Amazing Vet Clinic," suggesting a positive and welcoming environment. The fact that this has been the sole place for their "furbabies" indicates a level of trust and satisfaction with the clinic's atmosphere. While specific details about the physical layout or amenities are not provided, the longevity of the business, mentioned as "so many years," often correlates with a stable and reliable environment that pet owners feel comfortable returning to.

Services:

The reviews touch upon a few specific instances that provide clues about the services offered. One mentions bringing pets for general care ("vaccination, checkup, etc."), implying that Green River Veterinary Hospital offers routine wellness services. Another review details an instance where a pet was brought in with a head tilt and apparent pain, leading to an ear examination, ear flush, and drops. This suggests that they provide diagnostic services and treatment for common ailments like ear infections. The mention of Dr. Edwards' "50th Anniversary" in business speaks to a long career in veterinary medicine, likely encompassing a broad range of services over the years.

The follow-up action by Dr. Edwards, offering a thorough exam and subsequent thorough examination of another dog with severe ear infections, further indicates their commitment to addressing pet health issues, including more complex cases like potential ear ablations (though one was ultimately not needed). From these accounts, it's reasonable to infer that Green River Veterinary Hospital offers general veterinary care, diagnostics, and treatment for various pet health concerns, with a potential focus on experienced veterinary assessment.

Features:

A significant feature highlighted in the positive review is the "great hard working and caring staff." The reviewer feels they "do not receive enough praise," emphasizing their dedication. This suggests that the human element – the compassion and diligence of the team – is a key aspect of the clinic. The longevity of the business itself can also be seen as a feature, indicating a consistent level of service that has retained clients over many years.

The experience shared in the second review also points to a notable feature: the willingness of Dr. Edwards to personally follow up and rectify a perceived lapse in initial care. This proactive approach to addressing concerns and ensuring thorough examination demonstrates a commitment to patient well-being and client satisfaction. The "Voice of Experience" attributed to Dr. Edwards after 50 years in practice is another potential feature, suggesting a deep understanding and wealth of knowledge in animal care.

Customer Testimonials:

We have two detailed customer experiences shared:

One pet owner enthusiastically stated, "Amazing Vet Clinic, this is the only place my furbabies go. No wonder why they’ve been in business for so many years, great hard working and caring staff who do not receive enough praise. The reviews lower than 4 stars don’t give them justice, and most of them seem to point blame at the clinic yet not take responsibility for their pet’s temperament, seen it with many vet clinics, where owners do not take into account the amount of work needed to get their furbaby to be still for a vaccination, checkup, etc." This review strongly praises the staff and suggests a high level of satisfaction over a long period.

Another pet owner initially had a negative experience but shared an update: "I was HIGHLY recommended to come to Dr. Edwards. I went. It was the day of his '50th Anniversary' in business. Nice! He entered the room, and did not help me place my overweight girl on the 'elevator'. Once done, I let him know of her keeping her head to one side, and in pain. He got 2 long Q-Tips, left the room, put it under the microscope, came back with an ear flush and drops. NOTHING MORE. Never checked her over! The bill was over $220!! Dr. Edwards KNEW when he left the room, WHAT her problem was...after 50 years?! COME ON! Just another additional cost... I have never been so aghast at a visit as I had with this one. I let the person who recommended him know ALL the above. :( UPDATE: Dr. Edwards called me personally, and asked me to come with my dog and get a THOROUGH exam, on his time. I obliged and let him know how Gracious this was . Hence, I made another appt. with another Setter who has severe ear infections, and Dr. Edwards did a THOROUGH exam on her ear, and let me know the pros and cons of an Ablation, and Grace be to God, she did not need one! I TRUSTED his 'Voice of Experience', and was VERY GRATEFUL for this visit! ;)" This detailed account shows an initial dissatisfaction followed by a positive resolution due to Dr. Edwards' personal intervention and thorough follow-up, highlighting his experience and commitment to patient care.

In conclusion, Green River Veterinary Hospital in Auburn, WA, as a long-standing Pet Hospital, appears to be characterized by a caring and hardworking staff, particularly noted in a positive review. While one initial experience raised concerns, the proactive follow-up and thoroughness shown by Dr. Edwards, who brings a wealth of experience, indicate a commitment to providing comprehensive veterinary care. The doctor is great we have been going to him for over 30 years, I give him 5 stars. Recently there have been a lot of staff changes. The new staff do not seem to have any compassion, know what they are doing, and have poor attitudes. I have yet to decide if I will continue to have them as my vet.

Should be a zero. dog went in for a nail trim. I told them he should be muzzled as he may nip. Not only was he muzzled they dang near pinned him down as I was trying to calm him down. The gentleman that was helping decided to walk out of the room angry like as Sierra then told me I should leave because they are liable if I get bit by my dog and all the expensive equipment they have in the back. My dog had a panic attack I had to lay on the floor with him for 2 hours to get him to even slow his breathing all they said was oh you're his mom and you shouldn't have to be so protective over him. That is my child Fur or not I would not let it happen to my daughter either 1st time I've had a bad experience with this place highly disappointed. I almost got physical, took my dog and I will never go back it's so sad because hes been going there since he was a puppy.
