For over a decade I have brought my two Dobermans to the GMAH on N. Avenue. My late Jessie and my current Prince Harry have always been well cared for there. Never a negative issue and the staff are friendly. Plus, they're close by which is great and a must. Rather than going all the way to Burlington (Williston Rd).

I recently switched to here and it was the best vet visit my cat has ever had. Our old vet was terrible with handling cats. My cat is known for getting aggressive and the old vet would get really scared, which she would pick up on and then in turn would go crazy. Here, they were so calm and supportive. My cat only did one tiny hiss the whole time. They listened to her body language and respected her boundaries. It was like a complete 180 of what we experienced at our last vet. I was genuinely shocked that it went so well.

My dog had bladder stone so they operated on her. Well they missed putting stitches in and my dog ended up at BEV for 3 days and had to have another surgery and tubes put in her belly to drain the fluid what a nightmare. Well now I believe my dog has another stone and they tell me 350.00 for a urinalysis and 450.00 for X-rays are you kidding me my dog should be getting free health care I believe. I have spoken to a lawyer and I can sue for malpractice and I think I’m going to, I highly recommend not to take your dog there if u r not rich!

We've moved to Burlington and were referred to this Vet by our old vet who we loved. Now we have a new vet to love and so does our dog---who we love!!!

This place is excellent, my boyfriend and I have a small rattery and on the rare occasions that our rats get suck or injured we are confident they are in hood hands when we bring them here. It is so hard to find a good exotic vet, let alone a good one, and Green Mountain is by and far a great one. Their prices are reasonable. Last time we were there they even knocked $10 off of the exam fee because we ended up weighing our rat instead of the tech; this is not an indication of inexperience of the tech merely the squirminess of our rat. Both times that we've come it's been for emergencies and both times we were immediately admitted despite not calling ahead on one of the visits. We're so pleased with their service that when we adopt my aging grandmother's dog in May we will be bringing her here too.
