Governor Animal Clinic

I love this Veterinarian and the people in it. Our cat had an emergency a few months ago and the staff and doctors were very honest and straightforward in what needed to be done. They know how to handle an emergency and make you feel human in the process. I am thankful for this place and the people that work there. They are very good at what they do. They saved our cat Penny. We are forever patients. Thank you!

We absolutely love this place and are so grateful that they are taking new patients again! My dog recently got very bad pancreatitis and they got him in quickly and Dr. Bains came up with a great plan of care that was as reasonable and as cost effective as possible (way better than the VCA proposal!). All of the staff was wonderful and Dr. Bains in particular went above and beyond, calling to check on my dog several times and taking a quick peek at him during her break one day. We are so happy with the clinic and are bringing our other dog in next week. Highly recommend!

This clinic is amazing. We adopted a cat a year ago with some medical issues and Dr. Gardner and all the staff has been amazing. The vet techs are top notch and scheduling is always easy. The front desk staff is quick to return messages and address any concerns we have. Everything is always communicated very well. I know she is in great hands when she has had to be left for procedures and testing. They even have a cardiologist who comes to the clinic when needed. The clinic is clean and parking is a breeze. Thanks everyone for taking such good care of our cat Stuffing!

I recently welcomed a new puppy into my families life and was excited to take him to a local animal clinic for his vaccinations. When I called to schedule the appointment, I was given a date for his shots. However, upon arrival, I was informed that he was too young for them. Instead, I was charged for an office visit and a fecal exam, totaling $143. I was disappointed for two reasons: first, it seemed they knew he was too young for vaccinations yet proceeded with the appointment, which felt more like a way to generate revenue than to provide care. Second, I was surprised by the fecal exam, which I hadn't agreed to. The office visit cost $70 and the fecal exam $73. Overall, I felt taken advantage of and have decided not to return to this clinic in the future.

Dr. Feinberg, Dr. Sorensa, Dr.0mn, Dr. Kaleka, Dr. Bains, Dr. Benitez , Dr. Rowe and all Governor Animal Clinic team : I have no words to express my gratitude for everything that Dr. Feinberg and his caring team have done for me and JJ, my 9 years old Westie Terrier at the time we arrived from Brasil. They have always helped me day and night, answering my messages, solving the strangest situations and even having to decipher what I was saying because my mixed Portuguese/English language. I have always received a lot of attention, commitment and empathy from his entire team. Since I arrived in San Diego with JJ very weak after having been violently attacked by another dog, with serious consequences from this event, followed by complications related to her age which was advancing, I could not have received a better welcome and the maximum expertise in diagnosis, prevention and treatment. JJ was very well taken care of by all of you, and thank you very much for the encouragement and support until JJ death with 14 years old.
