We were having issues with our Pug not urinating. We took him to the Emergency Vet and he was diagnosed with a bladder obstruction with stones. He needed a couple of days in the ICU to recover. The staff was excellent and kept us updated on our Pug's progress including texting us pictures of him. The facility is very nice and modern. You never want to go to the ER, but it is nice to know that they are there. If we have to, we would take our pets here again without hesitation.

Dec 09, 2024 · Adam D.This vet is ABSOLUTELY amazing and the staff is what makes the difference here. Taz (puppy) had parvo last year around this time. She was at a previous hospital for 4 days and she was only getting worse & the staff wasn't the most pleasant to deal with. We moved her to this vet and Dr. Greenwood gave an honest opinion. We decided to move forward with treatment since Taz was still fighting . They had a separate room for animals who had parvo, blankets in the kennels, temperatured controlled room. Someone spends time with these animals rather then leaving them in the kennels . Dr. Greenwood and ALL of the staff who cared for Taz has truely been a blessing. They spent time with her, loved her and did all the things she NEEDED to get better. Dr. Greenwoods approach of taking her off certain meds and feeding her different foods made a world of difference in her progress (I'm our opinion ) . Once again thank you to all the staff and Kya (sorry for the mis-spelling ) who cared for our little girl . 4 pictures of her at this hospital and her now . 😊
Oct 25, 2024 · Danielle BashonOur girl was with them in their ICU over the Thanksgiving holiday and they were fantastic. They called, sent pictures and messages with how she was doing. We took her home and unfortunately shedidn't improve. We took her back and they were amazing. They help us with our transition without our girl. They gave us all the time to say goodbye. They were so respectful. I have nothing but good things to say. Thank you GQ for helping us with our girl and treating her like she was one of your own. ❤️❤️
Dec 08, 2024 · Bernita “Queenofeffingevrythg” DevnerDr. Greenwood at GQ Veterinary is truly incredible! Thanks to her expertise and innovative treatments, both of our beloved Pitbulls have been able to avoid knee surgery and recover naturally from their joint injuries. Two years ago, we brought our then 5-year-old female Pitbull, Haize, to Dr. Greenwood after she was diagnosed with bilateral cranial cruciate ligament tears (essentially ACL tears in both knees). Dr. Greenwood treated Haize with PRP (Platelet Rich Plasma) joint injections, and after some time for the knee ligaments to heal and repair naturally, Haize made an astounding 90% recovery—no surgery needed! Where she once was limping around the house daily, she can now run full speed, jump on the beds, and play with other dogs. Recently, we brought Haize’s younger sister, Hevel, a now 6-year-old Pitbull, to Dr. Greenwood for similar knee injuries. During her evaluation, Dr. Greenwood noticed early signs of hip issues on an X-ray and made the quick and thoughtful decision to treat Hevel's hip along with her knees. Hevel is still receiving treatment at this time and doing great! Dr. Greenwood’s skill, diagnostic abilities, and commitment to treating animals’ specific needs are truly remarkable. The PRP therapies she provides have improved our dogs' quality of life naturally, without the need for long-term drugs or surgery. We’re so grateful to Dr. Greenwood and the team at GQ Vet for keeping our girls happy, healthy, and active! -Haize & Hevel “The Pitty Girls”
Dec 30, 2024 · Ryan WelchTDLR: kind, compassionate, affordable, accommodating. If I had to visit the emergency vet again I’d 100% go here again. Everyone was kind, compassionate, and accommodating to my/my pet’s needs. The techs and doctors seemed knowledgeable. No one made me feel rushed to make decisions and no one made me feel guilty for declining services that I felt my pet didn’t need. Considering this is an emergency vet, prices were very reasonable and comparable to other places, and test results were very quick. I arrived around 11:15 pm Monday for my dog having a seizure, her second in less than two weeks. She was stable, so we had a longer wait time which was fine and I expected. I appreciate they’re able to treat the most time-sensitive patients first and didn’t mind waiting. Dr. recommended testing for valley fever, cbc panel, and the chem panel to check for infections, organ failure, etc.. I ended up going home for the night around 2/2:30am without doing anything, and came back in the morning due to personal reasons that would make this post way longer. In the morning, i decided to only do the cocci test for Vally Fever, and decided if that was negative we’d move forward with further testing. Results took about 45 minutes (maybe less), and my girl tested positive. Dr. came and talked to me about results, valley fever, and our next steps. Vet tech recommended following up with the titer test at a regular vet, as it would be cheaper and we needed to follow up with them anyways. I also want to note I do have a dog reactive dog, and at our prior vet they also injured my dog. Due to those reasons, they were kind enough to allow our vitals and waiting to be in a private room rather than the back and lobby. They also have complementary snacks and water, but I did not take advantage of these. Though I’m not glad we had to visit the emergency vet twice, I am glad I chose to visit this one in particular.
