Dr. Stefan Knep is kind, knowledgeable, funny, and talented. I have brought my animals to him for almost a decade and I trust him fully. Gehrman is a beautiful clinic filled with friendly and competent staff. Highly recommend!

Dr. Cam and Brittney were so nice and thorough with my Buddy and patiently answered all my questions. I totally forgot to ask him to check the tooth that prompted me to bring in Buddy in the first place but I will keep an eye on it. I appreciate being able to pair up vaccinations to save a little time and money. Every vet and tech we have met with have been fantastic, always listening to my concerns and advising me on how to keep him a healthy & happy boy. He actually pulls at his leash to get inside the clinic, lol. Another positive experience!

I've been taking our dogs to Gehrman for years and I wouldn't go anywhere else. Dr. Cam has been so helpful and thorough in every appointment. Over the years, every concern we've had has been treated with prompt care, while never feeling rushed!

Everyone who works at German Animal Hospital is friendly and helpful. They “get it” when it comes to treating pets like the most important member of the family.

I highly recommend The Gehrman Animal Hospital to take your pet to for wonderful veterinarian care! I brought my big Tabby cat Lambo there and he was treated by Dr. Rob Memmen and his assistant Sarah. Both of them did a fantastic job in caring for Lambo and I could see that Lambo was very relaxed with them during the entire appointment. Dr. Memmen was recommended to me by a neighbor of mine and I am so glad I went to him. He cared about Lambo, petted him, was very gentle with him and spoke calm words, as did his assistant Sarah. Dr. Rob did an exam to establish care for Lambo and trimmed his nails and we spoke of his diet and getting exercise. He also gave Lambo his rabies shot and distemper shot and that went fine, too. This animal hospital is very close to me, too, so that is another plus, as Lambo doesn't have to get upset driving so far in his carrier. The office staff there is also great! I want to add an updated review of an appointment that Lambo just had the other day. I brought Lambo in and he saw Dr. Rob and his assistant Ava. Both did a wonderful job and worked as a great team. Lambo was diagnosed with stress after being boarded for 5 days- he had stopped eating and drinking, was dehydrated, was lethargic, and had been throwing up every day. Dr. Rob prescribed subcutaneous fluids, an appetite stimulant pill, and an injection to help him stop vomiting. Lambo is now eating and drinking well, has stopped vomiting, is doing his normal business in the litter box, and has come back to life again. When Lambo had his temperature taken to see if he had a fever, Ava was there to hold and comfort him and he settled down. I am very happy with the great results of this appointment! Thank you so much, Dr. Rob and Ava! This is another update to my reviews of Gehrman Animal Hospital. My cat Lambo just saw Dr. Andrea Johnston on January 2, 2024. I will now try to copy and paste my review for that appointment. I suspected that Lambo might have a UTI when I saw he had been licking himself there a lot and when he wasn't able to urinate when he went into his litter box on Tuesday. So I called Gehrman Animal Hospital to make an appointment for him. The hospital got him in immediately that day, just an hour after my call. Dr. Andrea Johnston was Lambo's veterinarian that day and Sarah was her assistant. Dr. Andrea took a urine sample from Lambo and she said he did not have a UTI. She asked me if I would like to have an x-ray taken of his abdomen, that it would show if he had an obstruction so I said yes. I was happy that there was not an obstruction or stones, but Dr. Andrea said that his bladder had inflammation in the walls and that he was licking himself because his urethra was inflamed and he was in pain, and that was why he was unable to urinate. She gave him two shots, one for pain and the other for inflammation (Covenia and Onsior injectables). She also tried to express Lambo's bladder, but he still didn't urinate, but after that procedure, he did finally urinate in a litter box there, and it was a lot. Dr. Andrea also gave me some Buprenorphine syringes to squirt into Lambo's mouth for pain. She also called me the next day to see how Lambo was doing. Lambo was able to urinate on his own during the night after his appointment. Dr. Andrea also prescribed foods for Lambo for urinary care. I so appreciate all of Dr. Andrea's care of Lambo and told her that she is a wonderful doctor. She was very kind and caring to Lambo and to me. Sarah, her assistant did a great job, too, helping me bring Lambo and his food back to my car, and also the young man who brought Lambo into the office and trimmed his nails. Lambo is healing up well now and is back to urinating regularly in his litter box as before, and is back to being himself again. All of the staff at Gehrman Animal Hospital are friendly and care about their patients and their caretakers. Thank you so much!!
