Fur & Feather veterinary hospital

I am a professional dog trainer of 6 years and I own 2 dogs, a well bred standard poodle and a backyard bred aussie that struggles to be touched by others due to past negative experiences. I've been coming here for about 2-3 years now and I'm absolutely in love with their entire staff and how they treat Charlie my aussie. All other vets wanted to take Charlie instead of work with him and that's not how I like to do things. My dog has to enjoy their visit and not be scared so seeing the staff respect Charlie and not make him feel like he's a "bad dog" is what makes me love this office so much. I'm very particular about how my aussie is handled because he CAN bite if his warning signals are being ignored. The first time he came there, he was wary, but overtime, the vets have been very nice and have given us tons of helpful information on how to go about his handling and what medicine to give him so he's comfortable. He's still a work in progress but seeing how I can handle him and having the vet work with me is something I love to see! Charlie is not comfortable around new people so it's important that I take care of the handling so he's not experiencing anything behind closed doors. I will always come here because they make my dogs feel comfortable and happy. Thank you ❤️

This vet is absolutely amazing! The "fear free" atmosphere has truly made the best visits possible- my dog is always unhappy to go to the vet, but he's actually able to calm down after a bit! I've moved and found another fear free vet closer to my new place- and that's genuinely the only reason we are moving vets- but they even were nice about that and sent over my dogs records to them! Truly a fantastic vet!!!

Dr. Luper is the real deal. She saved our pup when no one else could figure out what was wrong. When we were too fearful to leave her overnight alone Dr. Luper took her home with her to monitor. The staff is wonderful and I cannot recommend them more!

HUGE thank you Dr. Luper for taking such good care of my newest (oopsie) addition... Vanya aka street tramp/lady...I had no idea how she would respond to vet treatment, but she did so good with the gentle approach & Fear Free treatment by everyone! So glad she wasn't preggo & now you've made sure she'll never have to be!! She left Fur & Feather a little drowsy after her surgery but with her tail wagging!

highly highly recommend this vet clinic, especially if you have exotic pets. dr. luper is a wonderful vet. staff here have been friendly & helpful. my babies are comfy when i take them & all of my concerns are addressed. i’m very glad to have found this vet:)
