Super professional, super clean! Dr. Corbett and her assistant Sarah are the absolute best. She is the only credible Avian vet in West Michigan. The whole staff is incredible; always friendly and working hard to help! This is a full service veterinary clinic, so they do all of the surgeries, tests and bloodwork on site. They have a pharmacy in house also, and the prices are unbelievably reasonable for everything that they do here. They also offer services like pet insurance & Hospice in home care and euthanization for your pet. My bird needed to be seen asap and so they made it work and squeezed her in. She was seen about an hour after I made the phone call. I would have had to take her to the emergency vet in GR and spend three times more if Dr. Corbett wasn't able to see her. I am very grateful. Everyone here is so wonderful. Please make donations here if you can, I believe they have a list available of things that are frequently needed.

Fruitport Animal Hospital is deeply compassionate, caring, and supportive. My family has been going to them for almost two decades and they prioritized the comfort, quality of life, and best management of each animal (mostly dogs) we have brought there. They cared for my childhood dog from 8 weeks to 16.5 years and helped us manage our rescue dog with Cushings and extend his lifespan by 2 years. They additionally have helped us manage our anxious-reactive cattle dog and optimize his quality of life while also treating his skin conditions that were contributing to his reactivity. The staff made him feel so comfortable and loved during all of this.

My rabbits and I have been coming to this animal hospital for over 5 years! We love the staff and the service is always incredible. They always take great care of my rabbits and answer any questions I have! I highly recommend this animal hospital

I’ve been going to Fruitport for a long time! I’ve been to every Dr. there but Dr. Barbu & Dr. Kromp have been thru the most with my pets and I. They both give me straight up answers while still showing compassion. Dr. B has given my 14 year old dog the best care options and I’m so thankful for her knowledge in dealing with my senior dog. The staff is amazing as well and are always super helpful!

The people there are great. I was there to put my girl to "sleep" and they were so compassionate and patient with us. Answered any questions that I had and let us stay with her as long as we needed. Received her ashes in a nice box and they sent a flower too, which was really sweet. (Can't write much more before the tears start).
