She has taken the time to call me after hours to ensure a timely response. She gives her full attention to each animal in need and genuinely cares! Dr. Karen has also taken the time to hear my concerns and give me different options and feedback. She is so realistic and down to earth. I love my cats more than anything and I trust them in her hands!

Dec 03, 2024 · Stacy MackUnfortunately r cat of 16.5 yrs had to be put down because of cancer. They got us in asa we needed. The people were so nice about everything, like leaving us spend as much time as we could with him, hold him and say goodbye. I want to thank them for everything that they did and for the empathy they gave us. U r the best vet we had and we will definitely recommend you. Keep up the excellent work that you do!

Dec 04, 2024 · Tom G.I was in search of a new vet for my senior chihuahua mix and the Fredonia clinic was recommended by many. We saw Dr. Megan and she was very helpful and kind. Her tech was also the sweetest and explained everything she was doing. I really appreciated that from them both. They went over everything they could do/recommended and the prices for everything. I liked the breakdown of prices they provided and I got to choose what I wanted done that day without anyone being pushy. Definitely recommend!
Nov 18, 2022 · Megan LecherMy family has been taking our family pets here for the past 40 years. The techs are absolutely wonderful. However, im starting to consider finding a different office as it's almost impossible to get someone to answer the phones lately. Even when you text or email. They will not respond to 3rd party RX requests like Chewy, nor did they relay this when my RX request was sent over until I called to ask why the RX had not been provided. You need to pick up the RX & upload it yourself. This seems inconvenient for everyone involved. Your staff are too busy to answer the phones as is, now you're having a other person come in face to face to take up more time My order through their online store was also canceled before verbally confirming with me while i was trying to figure out the fastest way to get my pets RX. Though the actual online store is very receptive & helpful in resolving issues. It also takes quite some time to check out with reception if you're picking up an rx. The one vet i have seen the most does seem to like to suggest running all the tests when you come in with an ailment, so make sure you ask questions about what is necessary & the costs related. They do offer emergency after hours services for current clients, but can not do lab work after hours, so you'll be sent to the emergency vet in port or grafton. I also had a similar experinces to some of the other lower star reviews & i wonder if it's all the same one vet. My first experience was coming in with a cat who had blocked & she told me "i cant fix your cat for less than $500 and that doesnt guarantee it'll save him" so i had to say good bye to my 5 year old cat that day. Another experience, with the same vet years later, another pet had a lump. They aspirated the lump, it was cancer, they came back into the room looking very sad and just wouldnt tell me how much the procedure would be to remove said lump until i had asked multiple times and it was quoted around $600 - $1200 and they were surpised when i said "that's it?" I dont think it's the vets decision to decide how much is too much for a pet owner. Also. After a proceedure with another provider, i declined some medication as we already had it at home. My account was supposed to be credited, but wasnt, and then when it was discovered, no one remembered. My account was eventually credited, but i ended the discussion feeling like they didn't believe me & felt like i scammed the practice out of $10. It feels like the clinic got too big & isnt efficiently handled right now & reception needs more help. My concerns are people concerns. My dog loves going to the vet & they're great with my cats. But im currently still here out of loyalty & hoping they'll figure out a better system soon that keeps the care of their clients a top priority.
