If anyone is in need of an Animal Clinic that actually cares about your pet… Franktown Animal Clinic is the absolute best. Specifically, we have been seeing Dr. Akers for some very touch and go moments with our Mini Aussie. He has genuinely been concerned about our pet and us from the time we walked in the door on Tuesday (3 days ago). He is continuing care on our baby and giving us hope that he has a chance. We are still holding on to hope right now and hoping our Jackson Bean gets better soon. But this clinic deserves a huge shout out during this very stressful time! Prices seem very reasonable as well. He is “trying his hardest not to break the bank”.

I cannot say enough good things about this clinic! The front desk staff, the techs, and the Vets are all amazing, kind, and so compassionate. My pets get the best care here, but I am also treated with such kindness and respect. From scheduling to follow up, Franktown Animal Clinic does an amazing job!

I have had the worst experience at this vet on multiple occasions. They have tried to over charge me several times and today it happened again. My dog was there about 6 months ago for an ear infection, and the vet suggested an ear flush. She said anytime I run out to just call them and I can run in and pick up a 4 oz bottle for $25. So we ran out and I called today to make sure they had the flush before I drove out there. The front desk said my dog would need to have an annual is it before we could get the ear flush. I explained that the vet said we could get it at anytime without a visit. The front desk said no a visit was required. I told her I was tired of this office being a constant cash grab! We needed to get my dog spayed and we were quoted $800-1200. Went to the Humane Society and paid $175. Went in for a well visit and they acted like they were cleaning my dogs ears and plucking them as a courtesy. I was told the office visit was $150 yet when I went to leave it was all the sudden almost $500?? Now I can’t get a flush without another visit. Good thing Amazon sales a bottle 4X the size for $10 more. If you need the ear flush get it on Amazon. TrizEdta Aqueous Flush for dogs, cats and horses with a green label. This is the most dishonest vet clinic I have ever been too!!!

Way overpriced, A few months ago we had to find a new vet because ours closed. I made an appointment because we had to have a well visit before they would schedule a routine dental. The well visit cost at least $150. Days later they emailed the teeth cleaning (potentially one extraction was included in the quote) estimate. For my healthy young dog that weighs 11ibs $1,500-2,000. I honestly thought it was a mistake so I called. It wasn’t. We have since found another vet in Parker and love them. The teeth were cleaned (including bloodwork and well visit) for less than $1,000

Dr. Arkers is awesome! I didn’t have a specific doctor I liked seeing until I met him. Now, I only will take my dog to see him bc he is so personable and his bedside manner is unmatchable. He genuinely remembers and/or follows up with clinical notes regarding your last visit/issues your pet was previously having and addresses them/follows up with those issues during the next visit. He does his best to put your pets best interests first and is not a money motivated veterinarian. My dog adores him as do I! The clinical staff overall is also very sweet and personable. Would recommend them to anyone.

I was so scared bringing my 14 year old dog to the vet. Over the last year she had many symptoms coming up that we didn’t know what was happening. I brought her in and Dr Sarah Olson spent so much time explaining all the concerns we had. She was so patient, present, and knowledgeable! We have been to Franktown veterinary clinic multiple times throughout the years. They’ve always been great. This was a special visit, she addressed all my concerns, made me feel comfortable with the diagnoses and that she & her staff (Ryan, who was very knowledgeable as well) really cared for our dog. If we moved 50 miles away, I would still come back!!! Thank you!!! 💕

I hate leaving negative reviews but I really don't recommend this vet. I've taken my dog here multiple times and every single time have left feeling like they don't actually like dogs... 🤔. The vets have been relatively unfriendly/lack warmth. Also - after my last visit the vet gave me misinformation about my dogs cancer numbers and gave me a complete scare - until I saw his oncologist (at a different clinic) and was put at ease. Also - this isnt a huge deal, but if there's even the slightest chance of snow (not actual snow but a report of snow) just be prepared to reschedule your appointment because they're 100% closing for the day.
