I had to take Rufus our 8 year old great Dane to the vet. He began peeing blood and at times couldn't pee at all. As most of our family & friends know he is very protective and gets extremely aggressive with anyone other than my household members. I was extremely nervous about taking him to the vet for fear of him hurting someone and we would have to put him down. I expressed my concerns with Ms. Sharon the receptionist at Footloose Veterinary Services. She relayed everything to Dr. Nikki Milligan. Some meds for him to take before the visit was given of course plus a muzzle was put on and in we went. We were put in a room and waited. The more we waited the more I became anxious. So Doc & Mr. James came in and Rufus reacted as I anticipated. Doc talked my anxiety down which in turn helped Rufus calm down. James brought out the big guns (treats) and now has a new friend. Rufus ended up without a muzzle and walked out the office passed 4 different people without any issues. If you're looking for a vet check out Dr. Milligan and her staff.
