The staff here is very friendly however we came here 2/14 a little later in the day with our cat around 530 for our scheduled appointment. We were concerned about him pooping and his bowels. He hadn’t been pooping as much It seemed they wanted to move fast since closing time was soon. They told us he wasn’t pooping due to feces getting stuck to his butt. We were also told to put him on a diet? (he’s a big frame cat) A week later our cat wakes up vomiting bile. We took him to another vet where we were told he was extremely constipated and showed low muscle mass. They could feel he had poop built up. We now have over 8 grand in emergency vet bills. We weren’t offered the option of an x ray while we were at lovet or really anything to see his colon. It seems they may have been more concerned with making the vet checkup short than taking the time to thoroughly examine him.

Welcome to Fletcher Heights Animal Hospital & Grooming

Fletcher Heights Animal Hospital & Grooming, located at 8385 W Deer Valley Rd #104, Peoria, AZ 85382, is a "Hospital" category platform offering a range of veterinary services and grooming. This clinic is recognized for its compassionate care, particularly highlighted by Dr. Rodriguez, but also has received some feedback concerning the speed of examinations.

Customer reviews present a mixed picture. One customer shared a negative experience regarding their cat's constipation. They felt the staff rushed the examination due to the approaching closing time and did not offer thorough diagnostic options like an X-ray. The customer later incurred significant emergency vet bills due to a more severe condition than initially diagnosed. This review indicates a potential issue with rushed examinations and a lack of thoroughness.

On the other hand, another customer had a very positive experience with Dr. Rodriguez and her technician, Shay. They praised Dr. Rodriguez for her understanding and compassion, particularly regarding their cat's pancreatitis and their financial constraints. They were grateful for the clinic's willingness to work within their budget and highly recommended their services. This review demonstrates the clinic's capacity for compassionate and understanding care.

Dr. Rodriguez and her technician Shay were absolutely wonderful! My old man cat has been dealing with a bought of pancreatitis and being between jobs finances are a little tight at the moment. This was our second time to their facility and both visits they were nothing but understanding and compassionate. I am very thankful to them for working within my means and helping my boy. Highly recommend!

Love, love, love this vet/animal hospital. I've been bringing my fur babies to them since they opened their doors. Approximately 2000. They're attentive, caring, and personable. Wonderful with my dogs and cat. They have reasonable prices, and they're great with communicating treatment options and costs. Very realistic, so you're not suddenly surprised with a high vet bill. 🐶🐱🐾💞🤗🏩

This is my first * review.   I have been a client of Fletcher Heights Animal Hospital for 25 years.  In that time my family has entrusted Fletcher with many of our fur babies, rats, cats, ferrets, and dogs.   When we first started with them they treated us as family with care and compassion.   Since then, they have been acquired by a corporation and things have changed dramatically for the worse.  This weekend after taking one of our dogs in for vaccinations and a check up a banking app error prevented my wife from paying our bill.  Despite assuring them that we would be down with full payment immediately they insisted on a partial payment and a $25 fee to open an account.  When I went to settie and complain about the treatment I was told that the employee had no choice but to act as they did due to corporate policy.  I can no longer accept entrusting the care or my precious pets to an uncaring corporation.  I have now found that the opening of the account has negatively impacted my credit rating by 11 points.   Please consider this feedback when selecting a veterinarian in the Peoria area.
