I just spoke with dr Kerley because not only did she confirm this eye drop has a steriod in it I was supposed to receive bmp eye drops not these and this eye drop expired in 2023 I would like a refund for this. Either a refund or the correct eye drops. Thank you. I know everyone there today was getting ready to leave but I have the receipt the on call vet told me not to use the eye drops and I have no idea how I'm gonna get champ through until Monday because what the on call vet is calling in is so far out of the question price wise it's unreal considering I just paid 28 dollars for the wrong eye drops but also expired eye drops I will post photos. Please refund this or please replace it with the correct drops

Welcome to Flanary Veterinary Clinic

Flanary Veterinary Clinic, located at 200 Eagle Nest Dr, Paducah, KY 42003, USA, serves the Paducah community as a dedicated "Pet Hospital," providing a range of veterinary services for companion animals. The clinic aims to offer comprehensive care, from routine wellness to addressing specific health concerns, catering to the needs of local pet owners. As a veterinary facility, Flanary Veterinary Clinic strives to be a go-to resource for maintaining the health and well-being of pets in the region.

The environment at Flanary Veterinary Clinic receives high marks for its cleanliness and overall presentation. Clients have described the facility as "absolutely immaculate," suggesting a well-maintained and hygienic space. This is a crucial aspect for any medical facility, particularly one catering to animals, as it contributes to both the health and comfort of the patients and the peace of mind of their owners. The staff's demeanor is often highlighted as a positive aspect of the clinic's environment; many clients find the "ladies in there are so selfless" and willing to assist, creating a generally warm and caring atmosphere. This commitment to handling "paw babies softly" helps to make visits less stressful for pets, which is a significant factor in a positive veterinary experience.

As a "Pet Hospital," Flanary Veterinary Clinic would typically offer a broad spectrum of veterinary services to address various stages of a pet's life and health needs. While specific details on every service are not exhaustively provided in the reviews, a general veterinary clinic of this category commonly provides:

  • Wellness and Preventive Care: This includes routine physical examinations, vaccinations for common canine and feline diseases (e.g., Rabies, Distemper, Parvovirus, FVRCP, FeLV), and parasite control (heartworm, fleas, ticks, intestinal worms). Preventive care is essential for maintaining long-term pet health.

  • Diagnostic Services: To accurately diagnose illnesses and conditions, clinics typically utilize various diagnostic tools. This would include in-house laboratory testing for blood work, urinalysis, and fecal analysis, as well as imaging services such as X-rays or ultrasound, if available. The mention of "Dr. Kerley" confirming a steroid in eye drops indicates diagnostic and prescriptive capabilities.

  • Medical Treatment: Addressing a wide range of illnesses, infections, and conditions that pets may experience. This could involve medication prescriptions, fluid therapy, or other therapeutic interventions.

  • Surgical Procedures: Common surgeries such as spaying and neutering are typically offered, along with other soft tissue surgeries like mass removals or foreign body extractions.

  • Dental Care: Including professional dental cleanings, extractions, and management of periodontal disease, which is vital for a pet's overall health.

  • Pharmacy Services: Providing necessary medications, often including prescription diets and other therapeutic products. However, one review specifically highlights a significant issue with medication accuracy and expiry, which is a concern that future clients may wish to clarify.

  • Emergency and Urgent Care: Clinics usually handle urgent medical situations during their regular business hours, providing immediate attention for acute issues. The scenario involving an "on call vet" and concern about getting a pet through until Monday suggests that they may offer advice or limited support for after-hours concerns, though a full 24/7 emergency service is not indicated.

  • Boarding Services: Many veterinary clinics offer boarding for pets, providing a supervised environment when owners are away.

Flanary Veterinary Clinic possesses several noteworthy features, some of which are highly praised by clients, while others present areas for potential improvement. A significant strength is the clinic's commitment to working within clients' budgets, as evidenced by staff who "did everything they can to work with budget and care of my paw babies softly." This flexibility and understanding are invaluable for pet owners, making quality care more accessible. The staff's compassionate approach to pets, described as handling them "softly," is another highly valued feature, ensuring that animals feel comfortable and safe during their visit.

However, recent client feedback also brings to light some challenges. One critical review points to an issue with dispensed medication, specifically concerning incorrect eye drops containing a steroid, which were not prescribed, and their being expired. This indicates a potential lapse in pharmacy management or prescription verification, which is a serious concern for patient safety and owner trust. Another area for potential improvement highlighted by feedback is customer service accessibility, with a client reporting prolonged hold times over two days to get "simple questions about my babies" answered, suggesting a need for better phone line management or a dedicated customer service line, especially during high-volume periods. Despite these concerns, the client still rated the clinic highly overall, acknowledging the "high volume of customers" and suggesting an "immaculate" facility and selfless staff.

Promotional information for Flanary Veterinary Clinic would typically emphasize its commitment to providing quality veterinary care for pets in Paducah. Their phone numbers, (270) 898-9738 and +1 270-898-9738, serve as the primary means of contact for appointments and inquiries. They would likely highlight their range of services, their modern facility, and the dedication of their veterinary team. The clinic would also promote their efforts to provide care that is mindful of client budgets, which is a strong selling point. However, prospective clients, when considering Flanary Veterinary Clinic, may also wish to specifically inquire about their procedures for dispensing medications and their customer service protocols, given the recent feedback. Despite some operational challenges highlighted by a few reviews, the general sentiment regarding the staff's care for animals and the clinic's clean environment suggests that Flanary Veterinary Clinic aims to be a reliable "Pet Hospital" for the Paducah community, continuously working to improve its service delivery.

First, I want to say the vet is absolutely immaculate The ladies in there are so selfless and did everything they can to work with budget and care of my paw babies softly. This review I’m giving a 4 star though I understand the high volume of customers but it took me two days on hold and had to use my concerned tone for somebody to give me 2 seconds of there time for simple questions about my babies Just useful opinion if you’re going over capacity of pets and customers I highly suggest you start a customer service line

Great staff and love Dr. Flanary! They were able to take my pup in on the same day, take labs and provide him meds to get him on the mend. We will definitely be going back!

Dr. Flanary and her office do an exceptional service and treat our fur-babies like their own. I absolutely trust her and her team to always know what’s best for my babies. If you are looking for a vet care facility that will treat you and your pets as family… I highly recommend this Clinic. I’ve been going there for almost 6 years.
