I can't say enough good things about this place. The people here are very knowledgeable and friendly. I've been trying to socialize some outdoor stray cats, and took them to get them fixed here, and they walked me through everything and explained things thoroughly. You can tell everyone there deeply cares about animals, which made me feel better coming here. I live in Hampton, but coming here was worth the trip. I made the appointment online, called when I had questions, and weeks later ended up dropping them off around 7:40am-8am, then they called me to tell me my boys were done, then we went to pick them up at 4:15pm. Don't hesitate to make your appointment here, it's definitely worth it

Welcome to Fixin' to Save Spay & Neuter Clinic

Welcome to Fixin' to Save Spay & Neuter Clinic, a dedicated pet hospital located at 4926 George Washington Memorial Hwy in Hayes, Virginia (VA 23072), USA. As a specialized pet hospital, Fixin' to Save Spay & Neuter Clinic focuses primarily on providing high-quality and affordable spay and neuter services for cats and dogs in the local community and surrounding areas. Understanding the importance of these procedures for controlling pet overpopulation and improving the overall health and well-being of animals, the clinic strives to make these essential services accessible to a wide range of pet owners.

Based on feedback from actual customers, Fixin' to Save Spay & Neuter Clinic is known for its knowledgeable and friendly staff. Clients have consistently highlighted the team's ability to clearly explain procedures and answer questions thoroughly, fostering a sense of trust and comfort. This is particularly valuable for pet owners who may be anxious about their animal companions undergoing surgery. The positive reviews frequently mention the genuine care and compassion demonstrated by the staff towards the animals, reassuring owners that their pets are in safe and loving hands.

The environment at Fixin' to Save Spay & Neuter Clinic is designed to be welcoming and efficient. While specific details about the clinic's physical infrastructure are not extensively available online, the positive testimonials suggest a clean and well-organized facility that prioritizes the comfort and safety of the animals. The focus on spay and neuter services likely means the clinic is equipped with dedicated surgical suites and recovery areas tailored to these procedures. The streamlined nature of the services allows them to offer these surgeries at a potentially lower cost compared to full-service veterinary hospitals.

The core service offered by Fixin' to Save Spay & Neuter Clinic is, as the name suggests, spay and neuter surgeries for cats and dogs. These routine surgical procedures prevent unwanted litters, which helps to reduce the number of stray and homeless animals. Beyond population control, spaying and neutering offer significant health benefits for individual pets. For female animals, spaying eliminates the risk of uterine infections and ovarian cancer, and greatly reduces the risk of mammary tumors. For male animals, neutering prevents testicular cancer and some prostate problems, and can also reduce behavioral issues such as aggression and roaming.

While the primary focus is on spay and neuter, the clinic likely provides essential pre- and post-operative care. This includes thorough pre-surgical examinations to ensure the animal is healthy enough for surgery, the administration of anesthesia and pain management during the procedure, and detailed post-operative instructions for owners to follow at home. The staff's willingness to "walked me through everything and explained things thoroughly," as mentioned in a review, indicates a commitment to educating pet owners on how to best care for their animals before and after surgery.

A significant feature of Fixin' to Save Spay & Neuter Clinic appears to be its accessibility. The positive review from a customer who traveled from Hampton highlights that the clinic's services are "worth the trip," suggesting that they may offer a combination of quality care and affordability that is attractive to pet owners in a wider geographic area. The ability to make appointments online and contact the clinic via phone ((804) 694-0349 or mobile +1 804-694-0349) indicates a convenient and user-friendly approach to scheduling and communication.

Promotional information is not explicitly available in the provided text. However, the very nature of a dedicated spay and neuter clinic often implies a commitment to offering these vital services at a more affordable price point than general veterinary practices. This affordability can be considered a key promotional aspect, making responsible pet ownership more financially feasible for a larger segment of the community. The positive word-of-mouth, as evidenced by the glowing customer reviews, also serves as a powerful form of promotion, encouraging other pet owners to choose Fixin' to Save Spay & Neuter Clinic for their pets' surgical needs.

The staff was very calming and caring for me and our rescue Lottie when we came in for her spay appointment and they even trimmed her nails for us while she was there. Our regular groomer didn’t have any openings until mid-month and I’m terrified to trim black dog nails so I am very grateful for that added extra. ❤️ Thank you very much for all you do!

Went today, our dog slipped his collar on our way in. They did their best with helping us get him back, he took off running(he’s a hound thats extremely fast). We eventually acquired him an hour later in the woods. They cleaned him up (there’s a swamp/lake back in those woods and he was covered in mud) still provided us with services even though we were late. We very much appreciate all the staff!

Took my baby ragdoll (kitten 5months old) to get spayed. She did great. No problems except for being very drowsy from her meds. My first ragdoll did great also. Definitely would recommend everyone using this clinic. They really love the pets that come through their door.
