This was our first visit! I am extremely grateful to Dr. Larsh and all the technicians that helped me and Mystic! The vet office was extremely friendly and understanding of my needs and my pets needs. They even were financially supportive with helping to make sure my pet gets the best care and the things she needed. Thank you!

I definitely recommend this vet. Drs. Fox and Lukas were so kind and very thorough in their work with my bunny. My bunny has been dealing with some difficult-to-treat conditions, and as we worked through more standard treatments into more intense treatment options, they remained very open and communicative, and they also included me in the medical decision making process, which made me feel informed, in-control and respected. It was easy to find appointments that worked with my schedule. The team always seemed genuinely excited to see my bunny at each visit, which also was a warm feeling.

10/10 veterinary services. That's what you need to know upfront. Our experience has benefited exceptional. We have a dog with a heart condition, which the talented team here found very early. It's been regular maintenance, late night calls of advice when he crashes how to help, medication balancing - we've no doubt extended our good boys life four plus years now and still going strong. We have a dog who was born deaf and by all means genetically not blessed. This team has given him amazing care, helped us with resources, and when he needed a tooth extraction they were able to take care of it within 12 hours, truly kind and very helpful along the way. We have a cat who has lived 12 of its nine lives before coming to us, including developing weird GI issues now. This team checks in regularly, keeps making the time for short notice visits, and provides real digestible information that helps us consider all options to improve the situation. The front staff are always friendly. The online pharmacy is convenient and cost effective, fulfilling orders quickly and responsive when issues occur. I could keep going, but you get the point. Don't overthink it. This is the place for care of your pets.

Fitchburg Veterinary Hospital has provided excellent care for multiple generations of our family’s pets. In addition, their end of life care is extraordinary! I can’t thank them enough for their professionalism and care. You people are the best!

BEWARE if your furry companion gets very sick and you can't pay the price! Everywhere in Madison area the prices are through the roof for veterinary care. Good owners who try to take good care of their furry friends within a family budget are out of luck. Seeing an animal suffer is the worst. Vet clinics definitely take advantage of that. So does this clinic. But now I have found out from a friend a horror story I will never forget. Her darling cat got very sick. She brought him to FVH. They said he needs an expensive emergency surgery immediately. My friend got intimidated by the amount for over 5K she couldn't afford and instantly come up with. So instead of offering her some sort of a solution, credit/loan to pay over time, or alternative clinics, the clinic staff basically forced her to choose between her animal friend dying in pain or her instantly signing an adoption document. With this document, their "board" would decide whether to do a surgery, afterward giving the cat for adoption. My friend would not be allowed to know whether the cat received the surgery or not and if he was adopted or not. It's like giving away a family member into the hands of a devil. Under this kind of pressure, she signed. I cannot believe how these people can live with themselves. How can they in good conscience tear apart families without ever informing them if their family member will be alright. I think it is a very valid concern that it is not in the interest of the clinic to pay for such expensive procedures, and instead it is cheaper and easier just to euthanize the animal. This is just what they might be doing in cases like that. It is absolutely outrageous and appalling. And I do hope that animal protection services turn their attention to the inhumane operations of this clinic sooner than later. I also hope that public will start paying attention to what is happening at this location. I will definitely start raising awareness about that.
