I can’t say enough about the exceptional care Dr. Erin has provided for our furry family members! Since 2015, Dr. Erin has cared for three of our beloved dogs, guiding us through every stage of their lives with compassion, expertise, and genuine warmth. During the height of the COVID pandemic, when our son’s two cats joined our household, Dr. Erin seamlessly extended her care to them as well. Her ability to put both pets and their humans at ease is truly remarkable. Dr. Erin has become more than a trusted veterinarian—she’s an integral part of our family’s journey. What sets Fauna apart is their holistic approach to pet care. From routine check-ups to emergency visits, the team always take the time to explain every option and ensure we feel confident in the decisions we make. It’s clear that they genuinely care about the well-being of every animal they see. The facility itself is spotless, welcoming, and well-equipped, and the staff is always friendly and accommodating. Uptown is so lucky to have such an outstanding pet hospital in the neighborhood. If you’re looking for a place where your pets will be treated like family, look no further than Fauna. My vet did not have availability, and I found Fauna. I cannot recommend them more! The whole team was attentive and very caring. They helped my cat (who ate a piece of rubber) and now my Trident feels great again. Will definitely return here for routine check-ins. This is the vet you can trust.

I absolutely loved the experience with Fauna! They were quick, efficient, and addressed all of my concerns. The wait time and cost were much more reasonable than our last vet, too! My dog Bowie loved the attention he got (and treats) and was not stressed at all being there. I'm so happy to have this awesome business in the neighborhood and highly recommend them to any pet owner!

What a wonderful team of individuals. Took my old gal, Ziggy, for a routine check-up. Sadly, it quickly evolved into end of life planning, but these folks supported me every step of the way, and are so compassionate. Thanks for everything y'all did to help me and Ziggy.

We had an incredible experience at Fauna with our sick cat! This was our first time visiting Fauna. The receptionist was super professional and welcoming and we were able to get in the next day. Dr. Erin and the vet tech, Brooce, were both extremely compassionate and helpful and we really appreciated the amount of time that Dr. Erin spent with us in the exam room. She offered ideas and testing options based only on what she felt our cat actually needed; they didn't try to upsell other exams or services that they didn't feel were necessary. Which has absolutely not been the case at other vets we've been to. The blood work came back very quickly as well. When I asked Dr. Erin if our cat still needed an x-ray, I really appreciated the honesty that it wasn't necessary at the moment, as we've been taken advantage of in the past by another vet. The vibe in the office is incredibly honest, professional, and caring. The office is brand new, modern, and extremely clean and welcoming. Dr. Erin and her team are by far the best vet experience we've ever had. The only downside is we'll likely be in Chicago temporarily and it's going to be hard to find a vet this good in the future!
