I have had one dog that had nasty smelly ears and was told by this vet that she did not have ear mites. We took her to the groomer and they said she did. We got the medicine and cleared them right up. Pretty sad when the groomer knows more than the vet. That one we let slide. Not a big deal but not this time. My boxer delivered one pup at 5:28 on 02/08/18. She never had anymore so I called the vet and got an appointment for 10:45. I took her in and she got a shot of oxytocin and calcium. I was told to take her home, put her in a quiet place and watch her. That’s what I did. Nothing was mentioned about bringing her back later that day for a c-section if she didn’t have the pups. Nothing was said about a timeline of when to bring her back period. As a matter of fact I was told by his office when I called to make an appointment that they would not be able to perform a c-section that day. So today my husband calls to see about a c-section and they get smart with him saying that they told me to bring her back that day for a c-section. That is an outright lie. Falconer never uttered the word c-section while I was in that office. I would not recommend this vet office to anyone. By the way, the only reason I even gave them one star is because you have to in order to leave a review.

Welcome to Falconer Veterinary Clinic

Falconer Veterinary Clinic is a Pet Hospital located at 1518 E Main St in Stigler, OK 74462, USA. Providing veterinary care to the local community, the clinic can be reached at phone number (918) 967-4549 or mobile number +1 918-967-4549. Understanding the environment, services, and features of a veterinary clinic is crucial for pet owners seeking the best care for their animals. The available information for Falconer Veterinary Clinic primarily consists of customer reviews, which offer direct insights into the experiences of pet owners who have utilized their services.

Based on the provided reviews, it's challenging to ascertain specific details about the clinic's physical environment. Information regarding the cleanliness, modernity, or comfort of the facilities is not directly mentioned. However, these aspects often contribute to the overall perception and experience of a veterinary hospital. Typically, a well-regarded Pet Hospital strives to maintain a clean and organized environment to ensure the safety and well-being of the animals under their care and to provide a reassuring atmosphere for pet owners.

Similarly, the specific services offered at Falconer Veterinary Clinic are not comprehensively detailed. One review mentions the diagnosis and treatment (or misdiagnosis) of a dog's ear condition and the provision of oxytocin and calcium to a dog experiencing difficulty during labor. These instances suggest that the clinic offers diagnostic services and potentially obstetric care. However, the full range of services, including routine check-ups, vaccinations, surgical procedures, dental care, or emergency services, cannot be definitively determined based solely on the provided feedback. It is common for a Pet Hospital to offer a variety of services to address the diverse health needs of pets in the community.

The customer reviews provide mixed feedback regarding the features and quality of care at Falconer Veterinary Clinic. One reviewer recounts an instance where a dog's ear mites were reportedly missed during a veterinary examination but were identified by a groomer. This raises concerns about the accuracy of diagnoses in at least one instance. The same reviewer also details a negative experience concerning the management of a dog experiencing dystocia (difficult labor). According to the review, after administering oxytocin and calcium, there was a lack of clear communication regarding the potential need for a Cesarean section (c-section) and the timeline for further intervention. The reviewer explicitly states that a c-section was not mentioned during the initial consultation and that they were later given contradictory information by the clinic staff. This experience led the reviewer to strongly recommend against using Falconer Veterinary Clinic.

The recurrence of the ear mite issue in a second, nearly identical review from the same individual further emphasizes the negative perception of diagnostic accuracy in at least one area of care. The detailed account of the alleged miscommunication and lack of proactive planning for a potential c-section during a complicated delivery presents a serious concern regarding the clinic's handling of obstetric emergencies and their communication with pet owners during critical situations. The reviewer's statement about being told that a c-section could not be performed on the day of the initial appointment, followed by a later claim from the clinic that the owner was instructed to return for one, highlights a significant discrepancy in communication and record-keeping, according to this customer.

Given the strong negative sentiment and specific allegations of misdiagnosis and mishandling of a canine birthing emergency in the provided reviews, it is challenging to objectively highlight positive features of Falconer Veterinary Clinic based solely on this information. The reviews primarily serve as cautionary feedback from at least one pet owner. It is important to note that these reviews represent individual experiences and may not reflect the entirety of the care provided at the clinic. However, the detailed nature of the complaints warrants careful consideration for potential local users.

Currently, there is no information available regarding any promotional offers or special programs that Falconer Veterinary Clinic might provide. Pet hospitals sometimes offer introductory discounts for new clients, seasonal promotions for specific services, or wellness packages that bundle essential preventative care at a reduced cost. Local users would need to contact the clinic directly to inquire about any such offers that might be available.

In conclusion, the available information regarding Falconer Veterinary Clinic in Stigler, OK, primarily consists of critical customer reviews detailing negative experiences with diagnostic accuracy and the handling of a canine birthing emergency. These reviews raise significant concerns about the quality of care and communication at this Pet Hospital, at least in the specific instances described. Potential local users are strongly advised to consider this feedback carefully and potentially seek additional information or alternative veterinary care options before making a decision. Due to the absence of positive feedback or details about the clinic's environment and full range of services, a comprehensive and positive introduction cannot be objectively constructed based solely on the provided data. It is recommended that pet owners in the Stigler, OK area conduct further research and potentially consult with other local pet owners or veterinary professionals to make an informed decision about their pet's healthcare provider.

It is crucial for pet owners to feel confident and secure in their choice of veterinary care provider. The detailed negative experiences shared in the reviews highlight the importance of clear communication, accurate diagnoses, and competent handling of medical situations, especially emergencies. When choosing a Pet Hospital, factors such as the clinic's reputation, the qualifications and experience of the veterinary staff, the range of services offered, the cleanliness and modernity of the facilities, and the transparency of communication and billing are all important aspects to consider.

For local users in Stigler, OK, who are seeking a Pet Hospital, it would be prudent to gather more information about Falconer Veterinary Clinic beyond these critical reviews. This could involve contacting the clinic directly to discuss their services and protocols, seeking recommendations from other pet owners in the community, or consulting with local animal welfare organizations for insights into reputable veterinary practices in the area. Making an informed decision based on a comprehensive understanding of available options is essential for ensuring the health and well-being of your beloved pets.
