Express Vets Cumming

Great experience with my girl Sophie, getting a check up and shots here. They were friendly, made suggestions that were helpful and the visit was fairly quick. Clean office and cute animal artwork also. Definitely recommended for routine appts!

I’ve been going to Express Vet for almost 3 years now. Very friendly staff and great service. They were very kind and gentle with my cats while they receive their shots. Highly recommend this place.

My cat never like going to the vet, and I needed find an affordable one. During our first visit, I was nervous on how my cat would act, but I was surprised how well behaved he was here! The staff and Dr. Hirst was helpful and answered my questions and concerns. They also gave me medicine for my cat’s ears and even cleaned it out for him before we left. It was quick visit. The prices are reasonable and I love the staff here. My cat and I do recommend this place!

I had been taking my two boy pups to an over priced veterinary clinic in Johns creek for 3+ years and was honestly tired of over paying. A friend referred me to Express Vet which is located off of Bethelview Road in the same shopping plaza as Publix. I will say, I was not impressed with the location at all. The parking lot is sort of “hectic” as far as cars coming and going, speeding aggressively, you really have to watch your four legged babies if walking them on a leash going into the clinic unless you park right up front. Julie is so sweet, patient and attentive to the fur babies and very well over the phone. First impression when calling to schedule a new patient appointment is everything when I choose a new doctor, clinic, whatever the case may be. Express vet definitely received an A+ for phone customer service. I am glad that humans were at least allowed in the lobby and only one human at a time. Sometimes (pre covid) when you’re waiting in a lobby with your furry babies and other furry babies come in, it can be frustrating and stressful, especially for the pups. So that was a plus for sure. I would have loved to go back with my boys for their exam but unfortunately was unable to due to covid rules, which I understand. The doctor is so thorough, so sweet, very attentive and observant. I was shocked when she pointed out something on my boy that was discussed with his previous vet. Definitely an A+ for the doctor. She gives her time and really explains the visit and gives recommendations as well. I am giving only 4 stars because of two reasons. Reason 1 of 2, I felt as if the floors could have been a tad cleaner. There was dog hair and some sticky liquid on the floor of the lobby. 2 of 2 when I had called before entering, I was told to wait in my car and the tech would come out to bring the pups in. As a new patient, I was originally told I could sit inside the lobby so I was thrown off when told that. I had asked about coming in and she did apologize explaining that she was going to offer for me to come in also. It didn’t seem like she was going to at the time, but I was at least able to go in and it was frustrating for a few seconds initially when hearing of that. With all said and done, I would recommend Express Vet, saves money, very impressive staff and excellent customer service.

We love going here. I’ve taken my boy Moose here ever since he was a puppy and he just loves Staci and everyone there. They’re very good with him even though he can be a bit reactive and they know how to calm him down.
