Super fast! They addressed the problem I had with my persian cat meatball! Got us in the next day! He had a uti issue. They also helped shave his belly which we have issues getting shaved down due to him having super thick hair and being a bit moody about belly hair cuts. Never had a vet go out of there way to help.me with that. Would suggest to anyone!

Welcome to Essex Middle River Veterinary: Zulty Joe, DVM

To our local pet owners in and around Essex, Maryland, we would like to introduce you to Essex Middle River Veterinary, located at 1609 Eastern Blvd, Essex, MD 21221, USA. Headed by Dr. Zulty Joe, DVM, this pet hospital aims to provide veterinary care services for your animal companions. Understanding the importance of accessible and reliable healthcare for your pets, Essex Middle River Veterinary offers a range of services to address various health needs.

Based on available information, the environment at Essex Middle River Veterinary appears to be a standard veterinary clinic setting. While specific details about the ambiance and facilities are not extensively described in the provided reviews, it is reasonable to expect a functional space equipped for examinations, treatments, and potentially minor surgical procedures. Veterinary clinics typically include examination rooms, waiting areas, and areas for housing and caring for animals during their visit or recovery. The presence of staff capable of assisting with grooming, as indicated in one review mentioning a belly shave for a cat, suggests the facility is equipped for more than just basic medical examinations.

The services offered at Essex Middle River Veterinary, as gleaned from the limited review information, include general veterinary check-ups and treatment for specific medical issues. One positive review highlights the clinic's ability to provide relatively fast service, accommodating a pet with a urinary tract infection (UTI) on the next day after contact. This suggests that the clinic strives to address pet health concerns in a timely manner. Furthermore, the clinic appears to offer some level of grooming assistance, as they were able to help with a difficult belly shave for a cat with thick hair.

However, it is crucial to present a balanced view based on all available information. One significantly negative review details a distressing experience during a cat's one-year check-up. This review alleges that the cat was severely traumatized during a nail trim attempt, that the veterinarian struggled to perform a basic examination, and that a vaccination attempt was uncertain. The reviewer also recounts being charged a substantial fee despite the perceived negative experience and the cat being labeled as "bad." This account raises concerns about the clinic's handling of nervous or uncooperative animals and the overall quality of care experienced by at least one pet owner.

Features of Essex Middle River Veterinary, based on the limited information, include the presence of a male veterinarian (presumably Dr. Zulty Joe, although this is not explicitly stated in the negative review) and other staff members. The positive review mentions a willingness of the staff to go "out of there way to help," particularly with a challenging grooming task. This suggests that at least some members of the team are accommodating and helpful. However, the stark contrast with the negative review indicates a potential inconsistency in the quality of care or patient handling.

Currently, there is no specific promotional information available in the provided reviews. Veterinary clinics may offer various promotions at different times, such as discounts on initial visits, vaccination packages, or seasonal specials. To obtain information about any current promotions at Essex Middle River Veterinary, it would be best to contact them directly via phone at (410) 687-1111 or +1 410-687-1111.

Given the limited and conflicting nature of the provided reviews, it is challenging to form a definitive objective assessment of Essex Middle River Veterinary. The positive review praises the fast service and willingness to assist with specific needs, while the negative review paints a picture of a traumatic experience, difficulty in examination, and questionable communication. It is important for potential clients to consider both perspectives when making a decision about their pet's care. Visiting the clinic, speaking with the staff, and potentially seeking additional reviews from other sources might provide a more comprehensive understanding of the services and overall patient experience at Essex Middle River Veterinary.

In conclusion, Essex Middle River Veterinary, led by Dr. Zulty Joe, DVM, is a pet hospital located in Essex, Maryland, offering veterinary care services. While one customer reported positive experiences regarding timely service and assistance with specific pet needs, another detailed a highly negative experience involving perceived trauma to their pet, difficulty in examination, and unsatisfactory communication. Potential clients should be aware of these differing accounts and consider seeking further information to make an informed decision about entrusting their pet's health to this clinic. We recommend contacting Essex Middle River Veterinary directly for more details about their services, environment, and any current promotions they may offer.

Took my cat for 1 yr check. They traumatized her so bad and only got 2 claws. Then the male doctor trys as he said to examine her but couldnt get the stethoscope near her and then said he tried to give her a shot not sure if it got in her. After all this he comes in the room and points his finger at me and says that your cat is Bad. Then charges me 164.00 after i already paid 25 for a deposit to hold my appointment. Will never take another pet of mine there.

Best animal hospital. They treat your pet like their own. Practice all Covid guidelines without sacrificing care for your animal. I would not go anywhere else. The entire office is wonderful.
