I had to put my 14 year old dog to sleep on September 4 2024..He was being treated for osteoarthritis n larynx paralysis by dr Jason Shull. Dr Shull gave my dig librela for his osteoarthritis after a few months he went down hill. Librela is poison for dogs with nerve damage larynx paralysis.. Dr Shull should have known this... My dog in the early morn couldn't breathe right he passed out then woke up n he looked horrible we took him To Richmond Valley vet n he had to be put to sleep by drShull.. Because of his lack of knowledge.. Dr Esposito had seen him once I liked her I wish we had seen her instead. She responded To one of my reviews saying she was sorry n she wanted to put our minds at ease no one can put my mind at ease for Dr Shulls mistake

Welcome to Esposito Lisa a DVM

For pet owners in Staten Island, New York, seeking a local 'Pet Hospital', Esposito Lisa a DVM is located at 4915 Arthur Kill Rd. Reviews regarding this veterinary practice present a mixed perspective, primarily focusing on the broader clinic at this address rather than specifically on Dr. Esposito.

One detailed and critical review recounts the experience of a pet owner whose 14-year-old dog, being treated for osteoarthritis and larynx paralysis by Dr. Jason Shull, took a turn for the worse after being prescribed Librela. The reviewer alleges that Librela is harmful to dogs with nerve damage or larynx paralysis and believes Dr. Shull should have been aware of this contraindication. Tragically, the dog's condition worsened, leading to the difficult decision to euthanize him at Richmond Valley Vet, also by Dr. Shull.

In this same review, the pet owner mentions that Dr. Esposito had seen their dog once, and they had a positive impression of her, expressing regret that she wasn't the primary veterinarian. Dr. Esposito reportedly responded to the original review with condolences and an offer to discuss the situation, though the pet owner stated that nothing could ease their distress over the perceived mistake in their dog's treatment.

Separately, another brief comment simply describes Dr. Esposito as "a sweetheart," offering a contrasting positive sentiment. Given the information available, it's challenging to provide a comprehensive overview of the environment, services, and features specifically of Esposito Lisa a DVM as an individual practice, as the reviews are intertwined with the experiences at the broader clinic at this address. For local users considering veterinary care here, it may be beneficial to inquire directly about the services offered by Dr. Esposito and any specific protocols or areas of expertise she may have. The phone number provided is (718) 948-3331 or +1 718-948-3331.
